I remember, when I was small (~4years old)and could not sleep.. my Father dressed me up and took for a walk in the fresh snow. Still, remember how silent was the street, and after this, I always woke up in the warm comfy bed. Really good memories for me, for my Father, that`s why I really love wintertime...But now I have to walk alone, and He is not with us anymore...always will be grateful for these precious memories with Him.

No one litters because it's so clean, nobody wants to be "that guy" who just throws his stuff away. Annoyingly, there aren't any trash cans anywhere, so people don't tend to carry any food or drink on them. (I go to Japan fairly regularly, visiting friends).

    49:15 This is Hatsumode.
Hatsumōde (初詣, hatsumōde) is the first Shinto shrine visit of the Japanese New Year. Some people visit a Buddhist temple instead[citation needed]. Many visit on the first, second, or third day of the year as most are off work on those days. Generally, wishes for the new year are made, new omamori (charms or amulets) are bought, and the old ones are returned to the shrine so they can be burned. There are often long lines at major shrines throughout Japan.

What I love about your channel compared to other similar channels is...
    1) the quality of the video
    2) the sound of the surrounds, your foot steps and your breathing.
    3) the amazing places you visit.
    4) the different times of day you record your videos along with the different seasons.
And the most particular reason I love your channel compared to others is...
    5) I feel like I’m the person walking around and I’m actually there experiencing it all.

I'm so happy I found your channel a while back, it's so nice to see parts of japan that youd probably miss even if you visited. I love looking at the little details and simple things you walk by that are still somehow unique. Great video as always😁

With you Rambalac it is hard too pick a favorite Video. Every production you create is Top Shelf. Thank You. And as mentioned in other comments. Please wear proper clothing and especially shoe wear per filming environment. We need a nimble and mobile Rambalac for many, many more years of Vids.

The crows at the 25:00 mark were so good! Would love to visit a northern city in Japan to see the snow one winter.
    Happy New Year!

Through this video, a harsh winter snowwalk seems like a virtual pleasure of reality to me cos I never experience B4.Closure of frozen atmospheric vapour falling to earth in white flakes was such an idyllic beauty.🌨❄❄☃️Thanx Ram,for making a great effort of energy for an ambience of some chill!!!✌👍😘☃️❄❄❄

absolutely stunning. I really missed taking a stroll in this weather, like even though it's super cold and the snow accumulates on your face, the views and scenery just makes you forget about it.
Thanks for doing such a video!
