Tiffany Mountain via Freezeout Ridge (Hiking Trails in Washington)

The Tiffany Mountain trailhead is about 20 miles NE of Winthrop, Washington. It provides expansive, open views on a clear day. Our day started with beautiful, blue sky and sunshine. However, the weather took a turn for the worse as we ascended Tiffany Mountain. By the time we reached the summit, the wind was howling and the clouds swirling, obscuring the views. We didn't stay long at the top since it was quite cold and windy.
