How about tracking a still object in and out of a moving shot? I've been looking for a solution for this for a while

How would I track camera movement that pans horizontally through an arc of 180deg? Obviously no matter what tracking point you use the object will move out of the frame so my guess is you would need to seamlessly join more than one set of tracking data? I used to do this in after effects to stabilise video using a null layer that held all the tracking data, but I need to be able to do the same within fusion. It would be an awesome tutorial in fact I haven't found one yet.

Super cool vids Chris.... QQ? I'm trying to insert an animation of dots or dashes into a small clip of film footage. IE dots going around a door mat on the floor or a sign on the wall. Do you have any tutorials on this please!
    Thanks Chris

Wait, why aren't you just using masks on the planar tracker?... A correctly set up mask tells the tracker what to ignore, animated it and do whatever you want with it. no need to move the shot around. In this shot you could even mask out the tree and woman walking in foreground so that the tracker doesn't see either of them...
