    Airspace definitely pays. I did a 248-mile run from the airport and they paid $442.29. To offset the fuel cost I use Roadie to guide me back. I also did a quick Redcross to a hospital run and got $40 for 12 miles

      @BigCJCargoVan  2 месяца назад +1

      No, Airspace does not offer contracts, only on demand work. That contract was from a company on CB Driver. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the company.

    • @Damidoo
      @Damidoo 6 месяцев назад +1

      Get a TWIC card. Transportation workers identification card. Google it in your area. I got mine at a Staples actually. They fingerprint you and run all types of background checks. Once you have TWIC apply with Airspace. They’re awesome. Run a lot of medical implants and tissue samples. Mainly late at night and far distances at least in LA.

      Look at the rate sheet they sent in the onboarding package to estimate before the trip and once you end it shows you the rate before any modifiers like incentives. It will show you the actual total for the trip under "order history" when you are done. In LA it's $1/mile for cars and SUVs and $1.75/mile for vans. Many times they will have cargo van orders that easily fit in my Tesla. I like to do long runs in the Tesla since it's so cheap to run. Orders started or ended between 8pm-8am they add $10 a trip. If you have to hold a package overnight (I did last night) it's called "pick and hold" and it's another $30. If you have to tender at an airport it's another $30. They also add incentives to some orders that people pass on. I saw one last week with a $220 incentive! Airspace is easily my favorite app. It usually pops off at night when everything else is dead.@@BigCJCargoVan

    If you get your TWIC card, is that the same thing as your TSA Certification

    • @BigCJCargoVan
      @BigCJCargoVan  6 месяцев назад +1

      They are different, but both are useful. Twic is more for medical supplies and access to government facilities or ports. TSA is for airport cargo.
