Deja Vu is nothing short of a masterpiece. It is a beautiful, fragile ballad that kicks your teeth down your throat in the chorus. It is extra difficult to sort out, because it tells the story from two perspectives. You know how even evil people think they are the good guys? This is reflected here. One perspective is Yoohyeon's, who gets corrupted right in the beginning. She thinks JiU is bad (does not want to share power) and backstabs her and kills, imprisons or banishes the other members so that she can rule alone. The other perspective is reality, where we can see JiU be kind to Yoohyeon, but she gets killed for it. I believe this is a commentary on the different perspectives people can have about the same event. The lyrics seem to hint at an abusive relationship, where there are usually two perspectives as well, and the abuser finds excuses to justify their actions, while the abused find themselves in an endless Deja Vu. Yes, Dami is the main rapper, although I would not call her part here a rap.
I love this song! If you're taking requests then I would very much appreciate if you would react to Reason and Break the Wall. Also, i just found your channel yesterday and watched every Dreamcatcher reaction you have.
dreamcatcher \:D/ gotta be careful with some labels. for copyright strikes, someone from that content provider has to pick out your video and mark it as unauthorized use of their material. sometimes it's just because they didn't like what you said, other times it's just because they don't want anyone using their stuff. if you have more videos from the same creator/label, those could also be prone to strikes so gotta be careful. hopefully they get back to you so you can decide what to do.
Love this song so much. Thanks for the continued DC love!
