- Large ancient Magalithic Sfireh temple of Lebanon. There are gigantic stone blocks, some 5 meters in size. There are small elements of polygonal masonry. According to the official version, The Sfireh temples were built in the time of the Emperor Septimius Severus in the 2nd century AD. which explains the name of the village of Sfireh, adapted from Severus.
One of the largest ruins in Lebanon, the Sfireh temple complex lies about 35 kilometers outside of Tripoli.
The main attraction at the complex is the Temple of Sfireh, known locally as "Qalaat al-Hosn" or "fortress castle".
The temple complex was built on a hilltop 1,100m above sea level.
Podium of megalithic construction. One wall there is one inscription dated 283-4 A.D.
One hypothesis says that perhaps the foundation of this temple and the largest blocks (possibly) have been preserved from the time of Canaan. For honor of local deities (Gods) Baal Hadad (son of Enlil) and of his wife Atargatis.
There are a lot of ancient temples in Lebanon that were first destroyed around 2000 -1800 BC, and then later they were rebuilt to worship for the new Phoenician, Greek and Roman "gods". In the temple there is an image of the head of Taurus. Zodiac symbol of God Enlil's clan.
Amazing preflood megalithic structure, would have amazing to see it 4200 yrs ago wow.
Good job on the English too Vlad 👍
afterflood megalithic structure of Bronze Age period
The flood happened around 12,000 years ago as a result of the younger dryas impact event.
Fascinating stuff.

The base platform seems to be more weathered and a lot older looking than the megalithic structure on top of it, the style is also different and was probably added or repurposed much later on.
Ignoring the later work done to it, I wonder if it originally was designed as an extremely robust flat surface that needed to be risen up slightly above the surrounding terrain, the position also seems to suggest it needed to have clear approaches.

@@vlad9vt I love what you do
When the Second 1000 TON Megablock was unearthed at Baalbek, the Roman's, Greeks, Canninites, or who ever claimed such, was thrown out the window.
4 blocks in the quarry, and at least 5 blocks in the temple platform. Most likely the original work of the Canaanites, long before the Phoenicians, before the Greeks and before the Romans
The same applies to the ancient foundation under the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
Exactly we are witness to a preflood culture that was world wide and we no longer possess the knowledge , period !!
Thank you for switching to English!
Thanks for watching and for your comment !
Notice the small stairs and door (actually normal for us) compared to the huge gate and the remains of the original huge stairs in front (2:35) ...this can't be a build for people of our stature!
And always the doors of the windows and niches are trapezoidal form, they are not rectangular
Bien évident ces stuctures sont très ancienne les plateformes construites par la troisième ou quatrième races nous sommes la cinquième c est leur plus grande peur que les masses l apprenent un jour
Władysław pozdrawiam.
Również pozdrawiam. 👍

As there are very few broken stones on the floor inside the temple, this construction was abandoned before completing.
the local population around the world, in all countries, at all times, stole stone blocks from similar archaeological sites, the stone blocks were broken into small pieces and people built outbuildings and houses from them

This is a temple, where a series of endless wars and invasions took place. People either died, or migrated, or mixed with the new tribes that came
Yes this is definitely a Roman structure their style of architecture is everywhere😂 I just have to wonder if they did this before or after ball Beck!!!

Mind blown 4000 bc at least 😂😂😂
Who knows? Maybe it was rebuilt. But i think from Bronze Age period
Lebanon had the best archaeological sites in the Middle East, it's a shame that you can't go to those places, it's very dangerous for tourists.
Thank you for your comment
Why so dangerous?
