I was thinking of getting a boxwood, but I saw a Japanese yew for ten dollars and I was instantly sold.

@@missteakmaggiepressler8390 a few days later I did get the boxwood. Luckily the roots didn't have the smell of cat pee when slightly working with it. I know some boxwoods do that.

can I prune back the trunk below any foliage or will it kill the trunk. i have a double trunk japanese boxwood
