- Been grinding the newer EU DD line on the EU server lately, and my god, getting wins feels like a whole body effort at times.

The ship itself is okay, radar smoke is strong, but those single turrets have brutal dispersion and the ship is the size of a small cruiser.

Having one torp tube on each side is kinda cursed
Having one torp set on each side really is a downside, but the recent reload buff helps turn it into a real fire starting DD. I didn't enjoy this ship and it made the grind to Gdansk very difficult. Great game though my friend
When watching streamers gameplay is actually more enjoyable than playing the game by yourself...
you enjoy the play and Schadenfreude and avoid the suffering of your mistakes and RNG
To be fair, if the Lightning hadn't grabbed the caps, it'd have been harder. Guy did well
yes, the lightning was competent. and you can clearly see that on the minimap. The Missouri did also quite well, but he has only 1 shot every 30sec, so ofc he goes down eventually
The older I get, the more that the forgetting to eat breakfast hits me haha
Great example of one of the most common and annoying mistakes especially BB players make in this game: Tunnelvisioning
They shoot at someone and then stare at him for the full duration of their reload till the next shot. I hate it when i play DD and the BB poatatoes dont remove cruisers i spot for them but shoot at angled BBs instead.
Fellow countrymen of mine who have similiar nicks like Flolo atm are very common tunnelvisioning candidates, sniping with their german BBs from 20 km.
Also - I wouldnt be so hard on the MAAS he has had a tough game on the right flank that collapsed but he played well by delaying whatever that was coming from that side. He did make a stupid mistake by openwater gun boating in the end but for the most part. He played well.

this was a massive game. It's really hard to carry in that thing. So hes really willing that boat to victory as well.
I tried to like the Katsonis but my lack of patience for her got in the way. She's big, soft and hard to position. The guns and torps are kinda janky and no ap. For me she was the worst of the EU gunboat line. Your ice in the veins, calm approach seems to suite her very well Flamu gg wp!👍
it's pretty terrible. Half the time when you radar the turrets are to slow to rotate. with out that radar it would be the worst tier 9 dd.
@@slip6699I wouldn't call it terrible, just rather mediocre. The problem is the rest of the line is pretty powerful, especially Gdansk and Split so it stands out as being weaker.
I actually looked forward to this ship as it looked quirky. At least Split didn't let me down.
The type of match where you struggle more with your own team than with the oponnent one ...
Had a streak recently of doing 4+ kills and 200k+ dmg and still losing (radar mino several of them so no HE farming). It's very interesting

WG games are the only games to where winning isn't decided based on which team does best, its decided on which team sucks the least, "truly the thinking mans action game".
great game, not an easy boat to carry in. I dont feel bad after seeing its not just me and my clan mates that see these types of players.

No, Ashitaka is quite powerful now. When it was released it had awful shells, they buffed it ages ago though.
It's a glass cannon, but the armour holds fine if you can position/angle/are top tier. It's a battlecruiser and should be played like one.
Would be funny to sail this thing and something like Elbing, Delny or Ragnar appear. Like seriously what is this ship going to do against them

regular fight on EU: passive battleships on respawn and all dead dd in your team in 4 minutes
lost last week on EU with 6 kills and 250k damage on a dd. The entire team just died.
To be fair it's hard to get those high damage teams with a competent team and I prefer those matches to the ones where your team is OP and you have to fight to actually do something before the game ends.
The game surely isn't good enough to forget breakfast over...

That Missouri he is in 3rd but he ignore tier 7 bb in our spawn and kill the cruiser and dd and get the Yamamoto kraken

Katsonis is an absolute dogshit DD. But his was a a really good game.
