Great discussion government needs to get out of the way and let the private sector have expedited permits to lower the costs.

We have a dome home in K'au. The frames cost about 3,000 and small shipping footprint. Initial Setup was 2 days.

What do people think of adding one penny to sales tax and/or adding a small percentage to property taxes and/or adding some percentage to the conveyance tax, on homes bought or sold, that are 2nd or more homes that are not lived in? These funds would go into the affordable housing fund and for homeless services. There is also a cap on how much of taxes are given to creating affordable housing, implemented in the 1990's during a recession and has not been updated, to lift the cap, that goes specifically for affordable housing creation.
