Stayed in one of the new villas in April and they are truly amazing. Grant and Jill must be so proud of their son, daughter in law and staff for transforming the accommodation to 5 star standard. Hope to return again one day and check out the new Seghe airstrip.

I have been to Uepi 3 times before taking dive groups there and everyone on the trips rate it as their best trip ever, Now finally this November I get to go back with my family, My daughter is now a diver and cannot wait to share the amazing place with her and My wife , We are staying in one of the Beach houses :)

My connection to Uepi is purely online. I started following you during Covid as a form of escapism, and you all helped inspire me to get freedive and scuba certified. Since then I’ve been traveling the world, having adventures in the sea. I hope someday I’ll make it out your way and we can meet in person. Thank you for producing some of the most beautiful and inspiring content on RUclips. My favorite videos are when you tie your environmentalism, with all the other aspects of living and working on Uepi.

Loved this video! I subscribed when you first started the channel and at times struggled to see how the fabulous new main house and new accommodation tied in with the old resort I worked at years ago. I hadn't realised the old resort was all demolished, so now it makes sense, thank you! Jase, you, Jill and Grant and your Solomon staff have truly created a beautiful resort. Congratulations to you all! When I met the Kellys, Jason was a school child. Wonderful to see what a skilled and hard-working man he has become. Uepi is a magical place and very much remembered by my children who visited me there as young adults. Later, a young Australian man visited the island with his brother who worked in Honiara, so I asked if he could deliver a gift from me to my daughter when he returned to Australia. This he did and it was love at first sight for both of them. ❤ They have now been married for 27 years and have two young adult children. They also have an enlarged photograph of the Uepi sunset in the entry of their house as a permanent reminder of how they met. My best wishes to you all.
It was always part of a bigger vision which is now being realised 🥰 such a long process when you’re doing it so remote and with all the hurdles we have faced. A few older buildings are still standing but only as staff accommodation now and even those we plan to re build soon once we all recover. How wonderful to know about the story for your family and the connection back to Uepi. I think there’s truly something special about this island and the people who not only form our Uepi village but our visitors who are our Uepi family. My connection - as above.... As a 22yr old, I watched my Mum pack everything up and head off to a remote island in the Solomon Islands to start a new career... March of 1996 was my chance to go and experience this magical place. A two week stay to visit Mum at work on Uepi. I'll never forget those two weeks.
First visited Uepi 30 years ago and learnt to dive. Got married at Uepi the following year, magical. Have had many visits back to the absolutely beautiful, amazing, special Uepi since and last October was able to stay in one of the beautiful new accommodation options. Thank you Uepi ❤

We stayed 2 Januaries ago! The beach houses are gorgeous! We stayed in Turtle House! Everyone was so gracious! The trip was fabulous!! Which staff member died?!? How is Ben, our dive master, and his family??
Aww how wonderful! I love Turtle House... that carving is just stunning. Each beach house has it's own unique touches which we think is cool! Ben and his family are all doing well.. Ben is such a great DM and loves the underwater world so much :) very sad we lost Raja (aka Rata / Rutherford) he was one of our friendly, capable and very loved boat drivers.

I get a massive buzz with every new booking that comes through - I guess that's the pride for showing it off! It really is stunning but also so well built for the landscape we have around the houses and access to the lagoon!

Just found your channel and have been binge watching. Just incredible. It would be a dream to take my wife here one day. Love everything about what you guys are able to pull off. Do you ever see the more aggressive shark species, such as great whites? It is my dream to dive with sharks as well. Keep up the great work.
Amazing... thanks so much for watching!! There's some crackers videos in the library now!! Have never seen a great white shark here... We see Great Hammerheads, Silkies, Oceanic White Tips and the very occasional Tiger Shark... Nothing to worry about here though so we can dive and enjoy our beautiful sharks :)
Great plan!!! Our 2 bedroom beach houses are ideal for families with the leaf houses outside and beachfront for all the shallow water time.. adventures!! Hope you do return :)
I only came across your channel yesterday (don't know how 🤷) and have not heard of Uepi. So far I have only had time to watch a few of your past episodes. I will need to do a bit of research into Uepi. The hut/cabin/accommodation looks lovely, congratulations to all. Can I ask what language you were speaking (other than English)
