This takes me back: seeing Goldie in NYC 16 yrs ago, feels like it was yesterday. That's how fresh the memory is, and how uh huh "timeless" the music is. NEVER dated, NEVER stale.
One of my all time TIMELESS pieces of art...Goldie is a Legend. Remember when Goldie released this back in the daize...smoking haize...BIG TUNE!!! Don't know if I will ever get bored of this tune...I won't!!!
This track serves as the bedrock and foundation for all drum and bass/jungle to come after. This is perfection in the days everybody was still experimenting and trying to get the sound right. You have to appreciate genius when you hear it.
born in Cannock a man utd red for 36 years goldie a legend forever god gless respect to top buzz mickey finn kieth suckling and DJ SS god bless you all Mick Fisher The White Hart
skrillex is awesome for his era. Goldie was brillant for his era. they both have their own unqiue style of bringing music to the world. both are amazing artists for a real passion for the genre of music they play. so bottomline everyone has there preference!
I just couldn't find anything to chill on like electrical music, untill I met Drumm'n'Bass and some dubstep now and then ^^ Maybe a strange combination listening to dnb and hiphop but it's perfect to relax, laid back and enjoy the spliff =)
Goldie was one of the few producers back during the atmospheric DnB boom who could hang toe-to-toe with Bukem. And the first third of this track "Inna City Life" was one of those reasons why. I actually think Goldie is much better than Pendulum for the record.
There once was a geezer called Jake, who liked to get out his face, and listen to teh drums and teh bass, for it was his saving grace, that helped to take him out of this place! All music seemed dull compared to this, the kick, the snare and the repetitive beat, Just made him want to move his feet, you true ravers out there will know what i mean! For the only thing we can truly do for free is to rock and to rave to the Drum and Bass Beaaaaaaaat!
@thetrickis Inner City Life is the first part of a 21 minute, 3-track song called Timeless. The other parts are Pressure and Jah. Inner City Life has been re-cut in a bunch of different ways for radio and TV.
Goldie please get back in the studio with Playford & 4 Hero....... Stop getting your management team to do the TV shite. Your defining moments have always come from music..... Music from the heart!
To all the people that are hating on people just for liking the song without 'the knowledge', piss off, make a jungle track that people like, then come back and give your two pennies...this is unless of course your Rob Playford or Dillinja..

He was right, back in 95! He knew the score back then. Goldie knew. This would be timeless!!
Goldie is a legend... anyone who says otherwise is only fooling themselves

This is the tune that first turned me on to D+B back in those days. It's how I recall London at the time as well as being a top tune.
If this was the only song in the world I would still never get bored of it :)
Timeless is priceless. It never gets old, this is called talent. I'll be there on November, KOKO waits for him

Humility win
You young stars need to recognize history !
I can always rely on Goldie for something good to listen to. Correction.. something freaking SIK to listen to.
This is fantastic. Makes anyone who creates music, reconsider why they make it. Truly timeless.

I'm not even stoned listening to this and it's just the best sounds to be listening to waiting for inspiration to kick in
This tune is genius level. It is truly beyond time.
I don't know the history of the music, or this music, or the band;
all I know it's good music, and that's what matters to me.
Peace everybody
This is beautiful. It takes me back to many good nights and good friends. Thank you Goldie :)
