Here's a demo song entitled "Easy For You To Say" written by one of the best songwriters of our beloved AOR / Melodic Rock genre ! It was written by Janet Morrison Minto in collaboration with Pamela Moore Barlow (BARLOW/MINTO) and Nashville songwriter Jan Buckingham. It has Gary Cambra on guitars, Steve Klong on drums. You hear the fantastic voice from Lorraine Frisaura on this song and Janet, Pam and Lorraine on the Background Vocals. No idea who was on bass - maybe Bruce Barlow ? I'm really not sure. It was recorded in 1989.
Janet Morrison Minto is best known for her collaboration with Pamela Moore Barlow in the '80s under the name BARLOW / MINTO. They have written awesome songs for various AOR / Melodic Rock bands, some of which can be found on the ALIEN album from 1988. A real classic ! Together with top singer Gene Miller they released the fantastic album FAKE I.D. - Dreaming Ezekiel in 1997 on the MTM label.
It is an honor for me to release this song for Janet Morrison Minton. The songs she wrote in collaboration with other artists should really be heard by fans of the genre !
