OUTSTANDING Video Josh , You truly deserve an AWARD for that Video mate , an Oscar ... Love it ... thanks for sharing and your Kind Help ...
THANKS G!
He, speaks the truth... so glad you decided to start a youtube channel, keep uploading Yeo!
Dude I love how humble you are. Thank you for being real.
Thank you Jose. I don't hear that all the time, thank you for that.
By far my favorite real estate video yet, thank you for this. Love the segway shooting style, footage is smooth and crispy. Great work, please keep it up!
Thanks dude!
So Josh, when are you going to release the video on your Slog2 tips???
Congrats on all the great work you have been doing the past few years! Glad to see you blowing up. Oh and those homes in Bakersfield were more around 500k you shot for me!!! 😂😂😂
Hey Josh, One year ago I watch this video and I had no idea that it was going to change my life. I was in a Pretty tough financial situation. My wife just lost her job and I had already reached the ceiling where I currently was working. I was really interested in real estate videography and I stumbled across your video. After watching I contacted a friend of mine who had a nice house and I asked him if I could shoot his home for free. All I had was a cell phone a moment wide angle lens for my phone and a DJI Osmo mobile gimbal. From that shoot I made a sample that I sent to a bunch of realtors in my city. Fast forward one year later I was able to quit my job and we now have a full real estate production company. I have three videographers and 2 photographers on staff. I started with my first house being an $80,000 home and now I’m doing the largest homes in my city. Thank you for putting out this helpful content. I can’t thank you enough for being a catalyst in changing the direction of mine and my families life.
Wow impressive story man! Good stuff
I love your style Josh! Short, honest, fun and professional. Keep up the excellent work!
Hey thanks D!
Love being subbed to a channel as it takes off. The quality is consistently awesome and the info and knowledge rounds it out. Keep pumping this shit out, I'm loving it!
one more thing, is there any real difference between the Canon and Sony mount Laowa 12mm? There shouldn't be, but I'm not familiar with it and every lens is different. I like getting Canon mount MF lenses just because I can use it on my 80D as well if I ever need to.
Will do!
I’ve just found your channel and sooo impressed. I’ve watch a few and now watching this one which is Just what I needed. please Keep making more!! I loved the hacks video and tye ariii video settings one. Thanks sooo much
Thanks man! I'm dropping a fresh one tomorrow.
Your puppy at 5:17... heart = melted
Dude, I've recently got my real estate license, and have always been a fan of video. I've been making videos for my listings that have been getting really well received. (10 subscribers can't be wrong.) Really dig your channel, and this video was on point. I know its not as interesting as some of the other stuff, but real estate vids are obviously a way you make some bank - so any more vids you wanna do on this would be appreciated - thanks man.
Yeah I got some more I'll do. Stay tuned!!!
Hi Josh. I'm a Realtor up north in Sonoma county and have decided to dive deeper down the rabbit hole of real estate photography and videography. Being an agent, I've had a passing interest in it for several years anyway, but recently have made a real effort to learn techniques on appropriate gear to bring more value to my clients. Thank you so much for the great video! I picked up a A7Riii and a 16-35 G Master lens a couple days ago (replacing my old Nikon crop sensor camera and junk glass) and have been spending some hours learning more about proper exposure and features on the Sony platform. SLOG 2 sounds interesting, I'll give it a try! Subscribed. Keep up the great work!
Love this!! Please make more of these!! I subscribed because of this video. Riding on a hover board with a gimbal to get rid of the z axis bounce is GENIUS!!! So going to try that!
I watched this video a week ago and then I got hit up for a real estate shoot so i watched it again the morning of. I did a few test shots and MAN that tip about using S-log2 was the best piece of advice, if I didn't learn anything else. There were so many large windows, it was a life saver.
Suuuuupppper helpful. The little things like cleaning up I didn’t even think about!
Awesome!
MAKE. ART. NOW. I’d love to see some of your Real Estate work if you didn’t mind sharing it. I picked up the lens today that you recommended on the video. Makes a huge difference! I did a test run on my own house and it came out great for a first video but I’d like to see some of your finished work.
Not in real estate or cinematography business but great video. People like you on RUclips are the real gems and not the ones who talk shit, make dumb prank and crappy content. Please post more of your content but at the same time don't burn out by over doing it. We want you here long term, haha.
thanks man! much appreciated!
I just binged watched about half of your videos, and I actually watched the video's full length. No skipping past mundane B-roll. yeah B-roll looks great but do I really need to see 5 minutes of skateboarding in 120fps? No. You sir are the biggest bang for the buck; high concentration of inspiration.
Bahaha love it. Yeah I get bored of broll
This video is CLEAN! The cadence, the info, the editing....I get why you're shooting 20 mil homes. Looking forward to seeing more videos and learning more tools of the trade.
Wondered what you did! This is awesome! Your lil segway thing is the best idea ever!
I like the way you keep it real. It's not all glitz and glamour, and to non video or photographer folks, they wouldn't know that. That's a good thing, because if they did, they probably wouldn't want to do this, and that's what they pay you for.
Great stuff, man. Not a lot of guys on here doing real estate specific stuff. Would love to see more.
YOU GOT IT.
“Every 12 year old has one” 😂😂😂 Always coming with the straightforward, solid info.
You unintentionally earned a "definitely not a narcissist" badge with this. It's too tragic to even imagine how much [having any older relative do this for me at fifteen] would have activated innate capacities. You rock.
Thank you for recommending equipment, going over the settings, and more. Such a stunning house and property overall! Love the view it had.
Thanks dude! More real estate videos to come!
@@MAKEARTNOWCHANNEL yes please!
You seem chill. Helpful video thanks! Subscribed
Super chill. Like on a ton of pain meds chill. Jk. :)
Fantastic - love your no nonsense style - I do a lot of event video I started just shooting stills so I'm really learning the ropes in video. Hopefully buying a A73 this month - I'll be honest the ergonomics look bad to me but it's got to be done :-)
It's a great camera. I like it more than the A7R3.
@Anthony Dolan Owning both of those cameras I can answer that for you. The A7Riii is clearly the better camera 90% of the time. It's sharper, faster, and better built with higher quality EVF and rear screen. For stills photos it's just better. Where it gives up some to the A7iii, is that the A7iii overall is a slightly better video camera. Not a huge difference, but it is slightly better in low light and can do a full sensor 4k readout without pixel binning. The A7iii video looks best in full frame whereas the A7Riii looks best at "super 35" mode with a 1.5x crop. They are both fantastic cameras, and I would personally choose the Riii if I were to only keep one, but I almost exclusively use the A7iii for video.
I'm starting to kind of like you Josh! Keep up the good work.
Very helpful! Thanks a lot and yeah, totally make more of these, your style is easily watchable. Cheers!
yes, this was a good insightful tutorial! Keep doing it. I thought I was the only janitor-photographer when going to houses. You made a realistic representation of our work.
Right?! I have a whole cleaning kit I bring with me.
Hi Josh, I loved the video, learned so much! Just one final question: what frame rate do you typically shoot at for real estate? Or is it more of a mixture between 24, 30, 60, 120? Thanks!
Josh, another friggggggin amazing video. I'm glad there are creators like you on this platform. Do you have 1 LUT for all situations or did you make one for darker scenes, and one for brighter ones?
I. Loved. This. Video. Thanks for sharing! I'm just starting out in real estate video and took a lot of great info from this!
I'd love to learn more about how you decide on your final flow and how you make an appealing edit too!
thanks for the video, great tips there :D . also would be nice to see your final video
Wow this video came out amazing the footage quality is 10/10 great work
Thank you!!!
Great shots, I did real estate for 12 years and I always tell the client, the photos are the home to prospects. They have to be amazing.
Great video brother, very helpful. I'd love to learn more about the focusing techniques you use for real estate, especially on a gimbal. There's very little information for this topic on RUclips and I think a lot of people would find it extremely valuable. Keep up the amazing content!
Will do! Waiting on the right house!
Looking forward to it!
Just stumbled on to your video. Freakin' love it! Super killer work. Lookin' forward to more of your videos. Thanks!
I can say I am one of those lucky 18 000 people to find your channel. Amazing thank you!
I know right?!!!! NO DONT TELL ANYONE ABOIT THIS CHANNEL!!!
I takes me 2 hours to respond to these comments everyday. I can't handle anymore growth! :)
GOLD!!!! love this man- SUBED!!! awesome content

Wonderful video - thanks for sharing your tips - my 2nd viewing, so this time I bookmarked it!

Lots of great tips. Thanks Josh!
The best real estate video. Thanks man!
wow! amazing work! thank you for taking the time to make this video. i love how you use the segway LOL. thanks again, have a great day!
Keep doing more bro, I'm keen to learn how to create a custom LUT on the Atomos V.
I’ve watched this over and over! Love it! Suggestion for a future vid would be to show what Atomos you are using, and set up for your lut.
That’s a good suggestion. I think I can do that!!!
@@MAKEARTNOWCHANNEL this would be awesome! Did you make it?
Hi Josh. Epic video thanks for creating it!!! Would the Sony 16-35 f4 be great for real estate or would you rather recommend the Sony 16-35 f2.8 GM. I also wanna use it for events and low light shoots. I own the Sony A7iii and I was wondering if the Sony 16-35 f4 would be good enough if I crank up the ISO. Thanks for producing amazing content. 👌
Wow, just discovered you & your channel! Fantastic, I’m just starting videography so am looking forward to hitting up you back catalogue! Subscribed, thumbs up & smashed that bell notification! 😝🥰🤪👍
finally...been waiting on this.
this helps so much...thanks.
MORE TO COME. FOLLOW UP VIDEO IN THE WORKS!!!!
I'm a photographer but watching everything you made. You are great influencer and a lot is useful for stills as well!
Thanks Yo!
Super helpful. Appreciate your professionalism, bro!
Wow. Great video. Was on the fence about that lens. Pulling the trigger now!
A treasure throve of information. Love these video's
Thanks dude!
Great video Josh! Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻🍻
Thanks Sean!
MAKE. ART. NOW. Hi Josh! Have you thought about expanding your business into other markets?
Like what? Home Tupperware market? :)
Great video! Thanks for posting. That house is amazing.
You’re killin it bro... can’t believe you don’t have more subs. I have been sober for a while but it never comes up in recommended. The bell is going on!
Love your work. Been watching your vids for a while. Didnt know u shot real estate now i do. Keep it up
Thanks yo!!
Have you tried the Sigma 14-24mm lens for estate show?
Love all your videos-this one in particular.
Dude you're killing it man. Keep it up!
Thanks for all the content! Great video :)
Great video man! I do real estate videography too and use a lot of these techniques in mid to lower and houses! I also love the hover board use!
Just discovered your channel and subbed. Great vids Josh!
Awesome! Welcome!
Tip I've learned from an architectural photographer- bring a battery powered leaf blower. Would've made sweeping out that garage so much faster. I've used it to clean everything from front walks outside to libraries and classrooms in schools for him. Much faster than a broom or vacuum.
That's actually genius.
@@MAKEARTNOWCHANNEL I thought so too. It's why I'm stealing the idea if I get bigger in my real estate photo business. Life hacks are my favorite.
Great stuff! Yes, I am glad I am not the only one who works as a "janitor" doing real estate! So true, sometimes I get only 45 min to shoot a house and have to clean it too! Yes, people don't wamt fancy, they just want to see it and quick turn around! Can you show the finished vid??Great tips and beautiful house!!
Great video, I discovered your channel a few weeks ago. I just bought the LAOWA 12mm following your advice. I'm really AMAZED by its performances and it's probably my new favourite lens. Thank you very much !!! With the Canon mount version, I can also use a Canon EF to Sony E-mount adapter with ND filters integrated, as well as the Laowa MSC tilt-shift adaptor to make the lens a 17mm f/4 if needed. Just love it!
Laowa is KING! good move!
I just found your channel Dude, I fucking love your videos. Keep up the good work man. 🤘🏻
Thanks Dude!
Your everything ❤️Thank you for your confidence in knowledge spreading ❤️
Great video and information. Instant subscriber. Cheers!
Hi Josh, would like to see some more of your real estate work. Some more behind the scenes :)
What an incredible channel! Thank you, thank you! Just ordered the Laowa lens... I’m so nervous that it’s manual focus though, can you reassure me that I just need to set to infinity and all will be fine...? 😊 thank you again for providing property related videos, best I’ve seen on YT! 👍
Dig your videos mucho! They're all incredibly thought out, and your delivery is prime! This video is my favorite because of that electro chill track you use. What's the name of the song?
WHAT A GREAT VIDEO BROTHER, TO THE POINT, QUALITY AND FAST. GREAT
Superb video, Josh!
Awesome video and content. Keep up the great work.👌
Hey Josh. Lots of good stuff there. One big mistake though! Shoot level buddy! Vertical lines are crap tilting down. Just shoot hip high! Yeahhhhh. Keep up the great work!
Ha ha! Your comment about Bakersfield is priceless. I grew up there and like to say "I'm glad to be FROM Bakersfield". Seriously good stuff. Question: how often do you use that Segway? Nice smooth shots...a gimbal on a Segway. Amazing!
Gotta get More!!!! Of this!!! Love it
More coming!!!
I know its an old video, but thank you for the advise. Im looking to venture into real estate video myself now. Thumbs up!!!
Hay Josh, I shoot luxury property in S/W France and your video was frigging amazing dude, S log2 I need that! loved the hover board you used to get through the property. Thanks for sharing
Not enough people talk about the cleanup and organizing that goes into this. I can't stress that enough with clients. Working lightbulbs, removing clutter etc... great tips!!!! I cam to hear what FPS you record in but maybe I missed it!
Awesome Vid ! Just picked up a used Sony A7iii so now I am watching your older vids to find out about picture profiles. Did u have to do any changes to the PP7 (slog 2) profile? What should the color mode be set to? Gamut? Thanks 👏
Love the work josh AWESOME MAN!!
Could you recommend colour preset or lut for real estate?
I like this guy...hes real and has great info
Incredible video and ideas.... Thanks
Great video mate! Ive been looking into photography for real estate, Ive done a few. But ive always had a passion for video. And I dont know why I didnt consider doing video for real estate. Maybe a bit harder as most people just want photos. But you make it look so epic! I need to do this. Thanks for the info
Photos sell the house, thats the sad truth, but that may change as video takes more share of content moving forward. Ill try to do some more of the real-estate stuff, theres just so man CREATIVE projects that seem way more interesting to me at the moment...is that strange?
MAKE. ART. NOW. There is no creativity with real estate photography. With video, there is more. But not with photos. So it makes sense
hey brotha, whats the name of the track/music that you used for this vid? its epic!
Awsm videos man.... Fan of u r wrk now... ✌️
Thanks homie!
I'm' having Josh Yeo withdraws so it's time to binge-watch all the old episodes again. "Keep Creating" you're changing the world.
Josh, not only are you talented, you should be a movie star!
Awe! You're making me blush.
Awesome work!! Keep crushing it man!Do you have the link to the final video?
I use an editor for those so in that case it's unethical for me to release it as my own. When I shoot and edit one all the way thru again I will post as whole video. I shoot way too many homes to edit all the videos and on top of editing an episode it's a tall order!
Hey man absolutely loving your page! Only watched a few videos and you have helped me out so much already, would love for you to do a video on using the atomos ninja v 😀
