      I used to have a smallrig full kit (xh2s)and changed it to a wooden camera one. The smallrig feels cheap and wobbles. The wooden camera rig feels as a part of the camera. In this case, the price makes all the difference.

    G'day Josh.
    As I make my way through your videos, I like your channel more! Keep up the awesome work. They look great and you have some really nice information.
    Personally, I've just picked up the XH2 with the purpose to use this new gear as much for photos as I will for video. I've got a gig working in Laos for a two week journalist style trip and so I am reading up the tech.

You mentioned and showed , you installed the dummy battery…. ok..but how do you deal with the dummy’s cable vs the battery cover ? Since there’s not a hole, how can you close the battery cover ? Or do you leave it open ? If yes, any risk the battery can fall down ? thx a lot

    I recently found your channel, and checking out your video one by one. (I work long hours, many days. And I can't watch YT videos while I'm at work.)
    So, I have a simple question about you choosing Small HD Action5 monitor. (I've already watched your video about Action5, so I understand the way you look at the thing.)
    I'm still looking at Shinobi (5") and Action 5. I don't need a lot of function. (I shoot X-T4, BTW).
    False color, Focus assist (Peaking), and the ability to load some LUT, that's pretty much, I guess. (Oh, and being able to see in daylight.)
    (I don't need vector scope, histograms, etc).
    When I look at the popularity (like, B&H customer review), Shinobi gets higher rating.
    And Action5 is a little bit more $ than Shinobi.
    Would I be happier if I pay a little bit more and get Action5?

    • @CineDailies
      @CineDailies  Год назад

      Thanks for watching my videos! I greatly appreciate it! Honestly, I'm getting the new indie 5 monitor. It is more expensive than the shinobi be the features and build quality are top notch. But stick with your shinobi if you already have o e

      I don't own Shinobi (yet). I was thinking about buying Shinobi, or SmallHD Action 5.
      The price difference is only $25, so, either way I can't go wrong, I guess...
