We get two versions in uk : rr125 (sachs zf suspension) and rr125race version (kyb). For most people the sachs is the better, more compliant suspension

Interesting that. Here everyone seems to want the kyb. I havent tried the other to know the difference.

Good review! I own a similar bike (beta 125 enduro) and would agree with you on most everything you said. I would also second your suspension advice since this bike may appeal to less experienced riders. If I had it to do over I would have taken it to the suspension shop immediately after I picked it up from the dealer. The biggest reason I chose the 125 is that I'm not so young anymore and I have been out of the saddle for a bit and I didn't want a big intimidating bike that would scare me from twisting the throttle. This bike has plenty of power and is a joy to ride, I would recommend it to anyone.

Its nice to see someone agree on these points. It does have plenty of power. these arent your old 125s anymore!

New sub great breakdown!! I got a 2021 beta 250RR love it, also fully platable due to the fact Beta does not move as many bikes as KTM or the Japnese brands. Even New York I was able to plate mine.

Im 56 and weigh 112kg. I just switched to a 150 KTM after having 2 450's and dont know why I didnt change sooner.
Small light bikes are so much fun.

i prefer the kick start. i live in spain and its too hot may-sept. everytime i get my bike ready, the battery is flat.

makes sense. I also hate that. And most newer bikes lack any other starting method other than electric

I was thinking about getting one as a race bike for MX racing (I know there’s other options) but was curious if you think if it would work

Im sure it would. Its light and has alot of power. Its not like the old school 2 strokes!

Put the 12 teeth front sprocket on it it is only like $30

I know this is probably overused comment. On people who've seen a lot of reviews but why not the alpha or the Omega or the sigma or something not the beta sounds like a $2 fish. But respect on the content it was nothing about that wish you many subs!
