I haven’t really had the time to do any to be honest. I also left for a bit to drive a class 1. I do have the issue of people not wanting their sites being filmed and just driving videos will become very boring and repetitive I fear
Some companies want you to have experience but others will take you on having never driven a tipper it’s just about contacting those in the area really. You have to also have an MPQC card for tippers before most places will even let you in the door which obviously comes as a cost along with driver CPC. It all comes down to the individual company if they pay to put you through them or not but I would expect to be paying for them yourself.
Sevastiqn Ionov it depends on the company and what you carry. Asphalt pays more for the haulier so the driver will also be on more money. As a general tipper driver I think most are around £10 per hour. If you’re lucky you can find some that pay a lot more like I went from driving a class 1 to class 2 because my boss pays more than I was getting on a class 1 so it can vary quite a bit.
