IM A vegetarian but this looks good for my husband! I'm always looking for cheap meat. I bought this Foodi and never thought I would use the sous vide function. thanks for this video.
It's so excellent to know how easily this can be done with a fairly inexpensive cut in the Foodi, even without a proper vacuum sealer. I would love to try that red chimicurri as well! Thanks for this Galley fam!
We have many may great items sous vide. Now, knowing I can have 2 different cooks going at different temperatures, there will be more sous vide episodes coming!
Here is a great article addressing your question. After reading it, you may prefer to give medium a shot. www.seriouseats.com/food-lab-complete-guide-to-sous-vide-steak
Hi there, thanks for the video. Curious why you cooked it for 20+ hours? That seems really excessive compared to other sous vide steak recipes I've seen. Generally the listed duration is 1-4 hours.
The budget term was referring to the cut of meat. We were also showing that the Ninja would sous vide as well as the Joule (we have seen it as low as $79). Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
Thanks for this recipe. Will try it definitely! 👏🏻
Please let us know how it turns out for you!

We do love our Ninja products. The Foodi does a very good job at Sous Vide. Let us know how it turns out for you!

@@saahil813 Thanks for stopping by!
I would have made the mashed potatoes in the Foodi, but everything looks great!
Good call! Thanks for stopping by!
We prefer our steak medium/well- well, how would I alter this recipe for that degree of doneness? thanks!

It’s because of the temp I cooked them at. Very small delta T between the steak and the water, so it takes a while to get them to equalize.
On a budget and you spent$300 on this? Sorry but no.
