Dale Cooper they were... in the 50's, before alfa was owned by idiotic, and bad managed Fiat, which destroyed every kind of cars production to easier the flow of money to Fiat's managers sacks, and to have a better level of corruption, leaving out nearly every good and responsible engineer. At least the only Enzo Ferrari had balls and avoided the italian disgusting economy and politics
alfa 156 is for sure a gorgeous aggressive but classy car, but... do you think it would have so so many problems during the years if it would have been projected with right founds with not only one good engineer, and not only to fill Fiat bank... it would have been a great car from every single aspect, with just a bit of good sense and a sight to the future...
Elia what problems..? (Okay rust, but any car from that time is a bit rusty) but it didn't had alot of el. Problems like many says and a bad engine.. Maybe the JTS is a bit meeh... But th twin spark has alot a caracter. It just needs the right oil and good service.
As someone having lived in that area, I really like that they got the license plates right. The police cars have Nuremberg plates (and are BMWs, like all Bavarian police cars), and the car he steals has a Bayreuth plate, which is right between Nuremberg and the border checkpoint for trains in Hof. The white van next to it as an Erlangen plate, which is a suburb of Nuremberg.
Great chase sequence and a classic Alpha Romeo GTV6. The guard at the entrance to the US Airforce Base always cracks me up, how he shoots like crazy into the air after Bond barges through! lol
The Alfa GTV were fast & quite a handling. I was lucky to drive this car for a few times as a designated driver while my friend ( the owner's son) were at back with the girls. The last time I drove this car was around 2006.
My father had one and let me use it for a month when he went out of the country. Great pickup and ride, but it was a bitch to switch gears. It was a long stroke (if that's the word) and could be really awkward.
@@lkyksb3 A real security guard/cop would never do this, and would be thrown in jail if he did. Those bullets being fired in the air have to land somewhere...
Came here after that spectacular Grand Tour episode.
So did I. It took me back to when I was growing up in a small village. The baker had one and you could hear him having fun late at night 😂
@@martinreid6101 Except it's IMPOSSIBLE to have fun in an Alfa.....
No overdubbed sounding Alfa needed in the making of this movie. True story!
Alfa Romeo are more than cars. Alfa Romeo are Cars... with a soul.

Best-sounding alfa ever, love it
Only Alfa Romeo sounds that awesome!!!!
Nice race between two excellent automobiles.

Una delle più belle Alfa Romeo il GTV
Such a sweet little car. I wish I had one, look like an absolute blast to drive.
An awesome car chase sequence thats over looked in a much underrated Bond movie. Octopussy.

The way he double-takes the Alfa thinking "I'm having a peice of that!!!" lol
The Grand Tour brought me here
Those front-engine, rear transaxle cars of the late 70's and 80's like the Porsche 944 turbo really handled well.
Guardandola tra le altre automobili del film la Gtv sembra venuta dal futuro
Verissimo

ALFONA!!!
Queste erano le vere Alfa Romeo...quelle di adesso fanno piangere
Piangere e ridere allo stesso tempo
Espectacular
All real superheroes drove an alfa !
Grande auto....👍😉🇮🇹
Scalextric should make a slot car set based on this chase, BMW police cars verses Bond driven Alfa Romeo GTV 6, cool.
That'll be the prop donuts and second gear syncro fucked then...!
V6 busso the best !!!!!!!
BMW 525i with 150HP Inline 6 was a great car too!
I think the chassis feels better with the small six yes
