This is why Seinfeld is better than Friends for me. You don't see them having these conversations at least to the same level. Seinfeld's little moments like this are great !
@Tony Any particular reason why we can't just talk about this without insulting each other? Or did you just need to make your ego feel bigger by insulting something with a different opinion? What makes you think I'm not a man?
I love hearing the woman chuckle as Jerry does that face as George is complaining lmao a real audience. No greenlight, no roaring laughter, just one person reacting naturally. Seinfeld was the anti-sitcom sitcom
@@12Blueace What does being a man or adukt imply anyway? Society likes to put too much positive attribute to adults, when adults cause war and relationship drama. Not saying kids are better, but adults overrely on age numbers as self-virtue
Every man has felt this way in their twenties and thrities and forties. But what bugs me is that people often philosophise/mystify the word "man", yet theres no sense of burden of performance for women. Also, I dont like how society uses relationships/offspring as the definition of maturity.
I love how they're saying "we're not men," "are we gonna be sitting here when we're 60 like idiots" and "we should be having dinner with our sons when we're 60" while at the same time there's a lone 70-year-something old guy who looks like he walked out of a Norman Rockwell illustration sitting in the back.
I thought that was part of the joke. George’s “you ever feel like you had a haircut, but didn’t” thing seems like it’s gonna be a plot in the episode, but it just gets interrupted by an existential crisis.
18 and already in one, just be yourself and find someone who you connect with, forget all the gym stuff and being popular or whatever, women want someone who makes them feel good
Seinfeld is actually kinda depressing when you think about it. It's about four self-absorbed adult-children who bring out the worst in each other and everyone they interact with. Whenever they try to improve themselves, they just make things worse. And Elaine and even George seem to realize this, but are unable to do anything about it. Also, I just realized that I AM George Costanza.
I think it’s supposed to be pathetic. That’s where the humor comes in. In most comedies someone has to be the butt of the joke; in this case it’s all four of them.
@@markschuyler3826 Which is also kinda depressing when you think of it, but then the line between comedy and tragedy is thinner than you might think (as is the line between comedy and horror). I mean, look at how many comedians have been clinically depressed.

Friends is trivial and childish compared to Seinfeld
You find that Frasier is big on self reflection. Frasier trumos Seinfeld.
