This song has a special place in my heart. Thanks to my Parents i got to be raised with such great music and this was one of the albums we'd listen to on our way to italy where we went on vacation
This song got my bestie in trouble for the reference to Nabokov. She went to our small town (@ the time), library 📚 and requested one of his infamous writings 😂😂🤣
Stewart Copland is an amazing drummer. He lived in the Middle East when he was young, which influenced his musical taste and contributed to his unique drumming style and sound.
I was in high school when MTV came into existence on cable tv (back when all it played was music videos) and this video was one that was on frequently. My best friend had cable and I didn't, so I'd rush over to her house after school so we could watch MTV while we did homework. Great memories.
Just a cast away, an island lost at sea, oh Another lonely day, no one here but me, oh More loneliness than any man could bear Rescue me before I fall into despair, oh I'll send an SOS to the world I'll send an SOS to the world I hope that someone gets my I hope that someone gets my I hope that someone gets my message in a bottle, yeah Message in a bottle yeah A year has passed since I wrote my note I should have known this right from the start Only hope can keep me together Love can mend your life but love can break your heart I'll send an SOS to the world I'll send an SOS to the world I hope that someone gets my I hope that someone gets my I hope that someone gets my message in a bottle, yeah Message in a bottle, yeah Oh, message in a bottle, yeah Message in a bottle, yeah Walked out this morning, I don't believe what I saw A hundred billion bottles washed up on the shore Seems I'm not alone in being alone A hundred billion castaways looking for a home I'll send an SOS to the world I'll send an SOS to the world I hope that someone gets my I hope that someone gets my I hope that someone gets my message in a bottle, yeah Message in a bottle, yeah Message in a bottle, whoa Message in a bottle, yeah Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS I'm sending out an SOS I'm sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS Sending out an SOS
Your message has been received LOUD AND CLEAR! Someone came at you with malice in their heart. You took a step back, evaluated the situation, straightened it out in your head, heart, and life. Then you came back to what you love! Persevervance, determination, and the knowledge of right from wrong got you through a tough situation. Don't give up! Fight for what you love! Mr. V! THAT'S A VERY POWERFUL MESSAGE!
I love that you enjoyed this! Early Police 1980ish I was blown away by the first 2 albums. Back then we bought albums, not songs. Every single song on every single album was awesome. Every album took you on a journey. Sting went on to become Mega singer. Golden touch.
How can I have forgotten how good The Police were ? I'm having a new appreciation of all these songs by watching your reactions ! Once again, thank you !
Huge smile on my face this entire reaction. I LOVE the Police and Sting. I remember being 7 and going into my big brother's room and hearing them for the first time. This was in 1982. Instant love! I was lucky enough to catch them on their reunion tour and I've seen Sting solo like 6 times. Please check out King of Pain if you can! Thanks!
Devil and the deep blue sea behind me. Vanish in the air, you'll never find me. I will turn your face to alabaster. When you find your servant is your master 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it or even knows ... Sting (lead singer of Police) has a daughter .... And she sounds like a female version of her dad. She goes by "I Blame Coco".
Perfect song to introduce anyone to The Police, "Roxanne" has to be their most popular song. Personal favorite is "Walking on the Moon" Keep up the genuine reactions my guy 👌
Best reaction ever! I loved the Police. Growing up in London from a Jamaican family, i loved how they incorporated a reggae beat in a lot of their music. You should do ‘Every little thing she does’ or ‘Roxanne’ next. 😀
Fun fact: Police were influenced by early reggae, but then THEY in turn had a huge influence on later reggae. Many bands of that style list them as inspiration.
Man! I Love eclectic music/era's/styles. I'm loving how open and honest your reactions are! I love the goose bumps on the arm too, that's how I know I like something too! Just subscribed...🌟
I gotta say, i am glad you are back bro. I don't know what has been going on with you, nor do I want to intrude in your personal life. Just wanna say, keep your chin up bro. Keep up the honest reactions man.
Yes to all the Police tracks below!!! They were so fun! And they sung about touchy topics... but they dared to go there. PLeeeeeaaaasssseee do more POlice! Still giving me joy.
And I bought some of you merch... does that get me one song request? Can you check out a newer artist for me? Her name is AURORA from Norway. Or will it not fit with your rock theme? I know a few metal heads that love her even thgough she's not metal. She is a true angel... Murder Song - ruclips.net/video/vh0SWTVwXxw/видео.html And if you love it you can try these. But there are so many. None bad. Helvegen (hell) - ruclips.net/video/FnkTuHP9q3o/видео.html (this is a norwegian band performance feat. Aurora but still good) Through The Eyes of a Child - ruclips.net/video/dEuWxzBmR2o/видео.html
I just love all you do...you take all of US away, journeys back in time, your reactions are genuine and funny...but I have reacted this way to a few of them also like you do, the first time I heard them or watched the videos. Music and lyrics to songs can be metaphorical. Some will get one message and others will get something else. Also the sounds of the music and notes sung will bring us to tears or make us jump up and dance... art for our ears, mind and dancing body... Thank you so much for doing this, glad to see you came back ! Some of us are alone too and this feels like a gathering of like minded people enjoying what we can of these difficult times. Much love to you !
Sting (lead singer) is still out there making music. He even crafted some of his songs into a Broadway musical. Check out “Fortress Around Your Heart”, “A Thousand Years”, “After the Rain Has Fallen”, and “If Ever I Lose My Faith.”
I think this was the first Police song I ever heard, back in '79 or so. Geddy Lee from Rush was on a radio show talking about bands he was really diggin', and he mentioned The Police. I hadn't ever heard of them. Then they played this song. It's still a magical song. Check out more Police tunes!
Everything happens for a reason. You don’t need your spilt water bottle, you have a YT channel. Every time you show us your chills on your arm, it’s impossible to see because it’s getting wiped out by your bright light. It’s too Brilliant! We believe you. If you ever saw one of these great bands live, your entire body would be one big chill. Here’s the part where I talk about my time machine. VIP guided tour (by me), going back with a hand selected group of my favorite reactors. It would be great for me to do the concerts again and laugh my ass off funny watching all of your heads pop with your eyes and mouths wide open! Ha ha! Good times!
Nice! Can't go wrong with this band. The Police are the best example of Unique and timeless songwriting. Their masterful Fusion of Punk, Reggae, Ska and Pop has created a signature sound of their own. If you looking for other Police tracks to review then I suggest: "So Lonely", "Can't Stand Losing", Don't Stand So (Close To Me)", "Waking on the Moon", "Do, Do, Do, Da, Da, Da" that should get the ball rolling.
fun facts --- Andy played with the Animals for a time --- and Stewart does all the cool music in the Spyro the Dragon video game series and Sting used to be a teacher
What i love about watching your reactions, they are very clever and entertaining. You aren't predictable, which is a really good thing when doing this. Your authentic 😁👍
bought merch of yours to support 👍🏻. Keep loving music and the messages these people wrote. Musicians are prophets in their own right all day long when they aren’t just trying to make money. You are helping some like me listen to music in a refreshing and significant way:).
Great reaction Leo. Glad to see you enjoy it so much. The Police are the shit!! Murder By Numbers, Walking On the Moon and Roxanne are among the many amazing songs of theirs you should check out.
The Police was one of the most popular groups back in the late 70's and early 80's. The song - "One World (Not Three)" has a great message that would be very relevant in today's society.
Mr. Video Saw them live the first time in 1980, the sound of 30 000+ people singing the chorus cannot be described, like every single person there felt the loneliness in the words.
Only Band EVER to Use the Same Line in 5 songs (Fun Fact from Casey Kasum 30ish years ago) : It's a Big Enough Umbrella, but It's Always Me that Ends Up Getting Wet. 🙄 You had SO MUCH FUN with It!! (Sting is Still with Us too...💕)
This song has a special place in my heart. Thanks to my Parents i got to be raised with such great music and this was one of the albums we'd listen to on our way to italy where we went on vacation
Try "Don't Stand (So Close to Me)". I love The Police. I've neen listening to them for over 20 yrs. Glad you enjoyed it!
This song got my bestie in trouble for the reference to Nabokov. She went to our small town (@ the time), library 📚 and requested one of his infamous writings 😂😂🤣
I like " fortress around your heart".
Or Wrapped Around My Finger. Or Do-do-do
That Stewart Copeland drumming. That Andy Summers guitar. That Sting vocals and bass. That's The Police, and always will be.
Glad you finally gave The Police a listen. They rock. Their lead singer Sting had his own big career as well.
You gotta here “every breath you take.” It’s a must!🧡✌️✨
The stalkier anthem is a classic 😂😂🤣🤣
100%

See No Doubt (Gwen Stefani), Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Sublime, etc. All ska punk groups/reggae rock/punk
Yes! The only other band I feel really captures it on their level is The Skints!
when I first heard this song when it came out, Copeland's drumming just blew me away. amazing.
YEAH BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE THE POLICE (at least these three). Check out their song/video "Everything She Does is Magic"
Oh, this song makes me cry.
Watch “ever breath you take”. That’s where Puff Daddy samples “I’ll be missing you” from 😊🙏🏼
Don't !
Roxanne would be best
Police, one of my fav bands ever, and definitely my fav drummer, Stewart Copeland, all time. White reggae
Stewart Copland is an amazing drummer. He lived in the Middle East when he was young, which influenced his musical taste and contributed to his unique drumming style and sound.
He's an absolute beast on those drums!
He drums without a set in every video!
I was in high school when MTV came into existence on cable tv (back when all it played was music videos) and this video was one that was on frequently. My best friend had cable and I didn't, so I'd rush over to her house after school so we could watch MTV while we did homework. Great memories.
"Can't stand losing you" "don't stand so close to me" and "king of pain" are all great.
THANK YOU! Excellent choice! The Police are one of the all time greatest! Roxanne and So Lonely are awesome!

In my opinion their best song!
Great song selection... It ROCKS!!!!!!
Love your reactions!
You know the song is fire when Mr. Video starts dancing and gets those goose bumps popping.
Your message has been received LOUD AND CLEAR! Someone came at you with malice in their heart. You took a step back, evaluated the situation, straightened it out in your head, heart, and life. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This song has it all: Rock, Reggae, amazing instrumentals, and a deeeeeep message.
The Police is the s- - -! I've loved these guys from day 1. Now I love Sting's solo career.
I think you would like their song "Roxanne"
He has already done that one.
Its 70s Of course he will like it lol
Huge smile on my face this entire reaction. I LOVE the Police and Sting. I remember being 7 and going into my big brother's room and hearing them for the first time. This was in 1982. Instant love! I was lucky enough to catch them on their reunion tour and I've seen Sting solo like 6 times. Please check out King of Pain if you can! Thanks!
Teenage Memories! I listen to this song when I was 18 years old and had my first car.
Please do: The Police "Don't stand so close to me". My favorite ❤️❤️❤️🙏
The Police were great!!! I saw them in concert in 1983!! They were soulful rock/punk. Sting continued from them. They have great songs.
"Wrapped around your finger" by The Police is easily their best song in my opinion. It's actually one of my favorite songs of all time period.
Devil and the deep blue sea behind me.
Vanish in the air, you'll never find me.
I will turn your face to alabaster.
When you find your servant is your master
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I really hope he does this song!!!
This British band rocked the charts . This band is talented on another level . It’s so cool you are listening to this magic .

The Police were my favorite band for a minute back in the day.
Dude, you always make me laugh. And you genuinely enjoy the music. You are one of the best reactors on RUclips!
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it or even knows ... Sting (lead singer of Police) has a daughter .... And she sounds like a female version of her dad. She goes by "I Blame Coco".

We used to sing "massage in a brothel" to this when we were at school. We thought we were brilliant!
"I just spilled my water, maybe it's a sign!"
Yes, it's a sure sign you need a coffee table. XD
I forgot about this!! Added to oldies now. They have a lot of good songs!
You've probably heard of Sting. He's the lead singer of the Police ❤️
You are so much fun! 💖
It's brilliant!!

II remember dancing to this a the school disco. I just checked it was 1979. Over 40 years ago! I now feel really old lol
This song is hypnotic
This was such a great group, I liked the Police more than I did Sting's solo stuff. I really like this song.
You are the best. I'm an old guy, born in the 1950's and I enjoy your videos so much, watching you makes my day better every time.
Sting and the Police are full of great hits! Sting loved Bob Marley- the reggae king.
Yes to all the Police tracks below!!! They were so fun! And they sung about touchy topics... but they dared to go there. PLeeeeeaaaasssseee do more POlice! Still giving me joy.

Dude, I have that same reaction to some singers. When they hit the right note and pitch and every hair on your body STANDS UP!
I think this was the first Police song I ever heard, back in '79 or so. Geddy Lee from Rush was on a radio show talking about bands he was really diggin', and he mentioned The Police. I hadn't ever heard of them. Then they played this song. It's still a magical song. Check out more Police tunes!
Saw the Police, Austin Tx in the mid 80's, at the Hippodrome, a great concert! Check out some early Bruce Springsteen.
Thank you for reactions had a pretty rough day and your reactions are brightening my bad day. Thank you Mr. Video

The Police are great to listen to when you want to chill. Sting is excellent. Great reaction Mr. Police.
It's so fun for me to see someone enjoy this song as much as I did when it came out. Thanks for the video!

The Police are glory caught in a moment. Three absolute musical geniuses individually. And the three together are alchemy.

"Truth is, Everyone is going to hurt you. You just have to find the ones worth suffering for"
-Bob Marley
🦋💛💜🧡🦋
your very entertaining you always make me smile glad your back 👍
Murder by numbers is a good one. Not popular on the radio but true Police fans know it. It’s just a fun song.
Sting Looked way different back then in the 80s with his group
fun facts --- Andy played with the Animals for a time --- and Stewart does all the cool music in the Spyro the Dragon video game series and Sting used to be a teacher
This dudes reactions are awesome.Keep them coming bro!💯
The Police were fantastic. "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" is my favorite. Great video too.
What i love about watching your reactions, they are very clever and entertaining. You aren't predictable, which is a really good thing when doing this. Your authentic 😁👍
So fun watching you react🤘✌️
bought merch of yours to support 👍🏻.
Message in a bottle: I emptied my last bottle of rum to send this message. Please, send more rum.🍾
The Police was one of the most popular groups back in the late 70's and early 80's. The song - "One World (Not Three)" has a great message that would be very relevant in today's society.

The Police were my Eighties band---- Love all their work --- I got the message too --- found it while Walking on the Moon lol
This song is phenomenal. Been listening to it for 20 years and I never bothered to watch the video. Too funny.
Mr. Video Saw them live the first time in 1980, the sound of 30 000+ people singing the chorus cannot be described, like every single person there felt the loneliness in the words.
One of my favorite drummers ever! Stewart is a beast! You're definitely finding the good stuff!! Stay up, homie!
now you need to do The Cars "moving in stereo"
Yes and/or Candy-O with Shoo Be Doo!
I will second this.
My favorite
Great tune to curl weights to back in high school...
“It’s tricky..”
It's tricky to rock a rhyme, to rock a rhyme that's right on time
I’ve heard it is anyway.
This is the video that got me into reaction videos. Still great. Thank you, man.
Only Band EVER to Use the Same Line in 5 songs (Fun Fact from Casey Kasum 30ish years ago) : It's a Big Enough Umbrella, but It's Always Me that Ends Up Getting Wet. 🙄
You had SO MUCH FUN with It!! (Sting is Still with Us too...💕)
You should react to "It's Tricky " by RUN DMC.
I forgot I like this song. And we are really sending SOS to the world right now 🙌✊🏼
I haven"t even watched it yet and I know its gunna be fire!!!
Walking on the Moon is another great Police song to check out. Glad you got to this one.
