@@maxbrandt6 Which is a damn shame because the BattleTech universe is pretty much equal opportunity. Military, politics, science, commerce are all open to both male and female. And then you have the clans, which are basically full equality in all aspects, and the Magistracy of Canopus, which is female dominated.
@@Tekisasubakani Right you are, hopefully a screen writer for a would-be BT/MW movie would know this and write a decent script but everything has gone to shit for movie making during this pandemic time.
@@maxbrandt6 It wasn't in that great of a state before the pandemic, but yeah. My pick for a screenwriter would be Gary Whitta, it was his treatment that was adapted into Rogue One. Not to mention I loved him as Chief Editor of PC Gamer when I was in high school/
@@maxbrandt6 Screenwriters don't all have to come from Hollywood, but BattleTech is a pretty niche universe. I'd say it's even less popular than WH40k, which coincidentally has never received a worthwhile movie or animated adaptation. Ultramarines was trash.
@@CrizzyEyes The Ultramarines movie was pathetic, could have been way better. Fans are doing amazing work, though. Battletech is a pretty niche property, so a good movie most likely will not happen.
