Thank you sooo much for your review :) We would appreciate your suggestions. We have made some adjustments to the final version. · The magnetic force of the dosing funnel/ring has been doubled, and now its magnetic strength is indeed super strong, haha. · In addition to the original 0.4mm needle, we have prepared two sets of replacement needles with sizes of 0.4 and 0.3mm, for everyone to choose according to personal preference.
stupid question but when i fill in 18g in the basket it is already full and when i use a tamper like in the video with a very thick plate it will be useless because i can not push the coffee down to the point the upper plate of the tamper would touch the basket which is needed to auto level the tamping correctly. So i think and maybe i think wrong here but a thinner plate is better for such auto leveling tampers because the upper plate need to touch the basket for the auto leveling cabability.
@@Danbarb-r1p not sure if I get you but if after using WDT you have soo much coffee in the basket that you can’t tamp, the basket might be too small. Anyway, I currently use 18g basket and put in 20g of coffee and still tamp it with this tamper with no issues.
@@mycoffeeshow111 i can tamp but the upper plate of the auto leveling tampers need to touch the basket as well in order to level the tamper, right? That means the upper plate will only touch the basket when you already pressed in the coffee by a long way because the main plate of the tamper is so thick. that means it will not be tampered straight. This will not happen when you have a tamper with a relatively thin main plate.
@ possibly theoretically it could happen but as I said, I haven’t noticed that issue myself. With this particular tamper, if you use it with the collar, it sits on top of it anyway.
Thanks for the review and the comparison. Imho in the see through basket the Bookoo tamp was better. The Bomber had too much agitation because of the impact click force, it looked more disturbing than leveling the bed. For me 0.35mm is the perfect needle size, not too thin that they bend too much and not too thick that it pushes the clumbs around and makes holes.
@@essensse I like them as they deliver the same tamping force every time which is convenient especially when like myself you experiment with different grinders, baskets ect. I haven’t noticed them causing channeling but if you don’t like them I have a very nice self levelling tamper from Pesado that is really worth considering: ruclips.net/video/0wC5lzjyRBY/видео.htmlsi=wCFq5Izaf4PH000A
@@After_GF I like new things and I’m always happy to test them. I know that Bookoo works on some other projects that might be more interesting. Personally I don’t need WDT inside my tamper but maybe there is a market for that.

@@Robby_S. thank you very much for your comment. I think you might be right here.
Whats the benefit of the “impact” tamper? Wouldn’t it just disturb the grounds/puck and create opportunity for channeling btw the basket and the puck?
None.
Just get something like normcore that has leveling function.

Ι think that it's nothing special, who don't have space for a WDT tool?
