You forgot phase 5, start your own kingdom (too early) and get swarmed by the other kingdoms.
It’s like being gangbanged by swords
Me getting attacked by vlandia, aseari, and the western empire
Yes, I made that mistake. Never had a game stress me before.
That was me 3 months ago
I just started my kingdom at revyl in Sturgia and I'm currently sitting on the choke point and spamming the wound everyone button and then letting all the lords and ladies go free until everyone chills out, so far sturgia and vlandia have fallen back in line
I found the last 3 guys behind a door of a building that doesnt open. Their weapons would occasionally poke through and that was the only way to sometimes hit them. I bet i spent half an hour doing that
its kind of why I keep certain weapons on me, or find a rock to throw at them XD
Same thing happened but there was 10 of them. My men kept hitting the wall and killed them one by one, took a long time.
I found going into first person you can time the attack them
I had one that wouldn't show on the indicator either. Couldn't find him. Retreat and auto resolve it was...
Yeah certain aserai castle maps.
You go from bandits looking to fight you to running away but willing to defend themselves to not even wanting to fight and giving up immediately. This game a power trip
Me with 180 strong army just using looters as practice dummies for experience
Meanwhile I stress if i lose someone because in my mind thats 10-200 gold gone lmao
"Dont you die on me harry, I just spend 300 upgrading ya and you only killed 2 dudes!"
I was in a battle last night. It was a long battle since most of my party was tier 2-4 against a majority tier 4-6 party.
Tell me how I lost two men, and they were my top tier Khans Guards. 😂
@@peaceable263they sacrificed fr
Same happens with my fians, who tf they not taking any of the frontline but 10 of back
When I pay 500 denars, I expect to get 5 fights out of a soldier before he roll over and play dead
Trying a low mod bandit campaign and death comes with a brutal cost
Aka my valandian champions getting sniped by rocks
You forgot phase 6: every enemy flees on sight from your army that is too big to chase anyone, so you can't get any gold or food and everyone hates you
Caravans and masterwork thamaskene swords. gold wins wars.
When your in an army release one of your parties and they’ll go catch the enemies for you
Omg this resonates
That why I play with bonus 5% more speed from the campain options
Which is why a large portion pf my army is cavalry and i have hundreds of pack animals
Stage 4 for me was becoming a legendary blacksmith
What did the blacksmoth say to the Smelter? I'm steeling it. (casual flat joke)
I know of the evolution of the Bannerlord gamer:
1. plays one vanilla game with no mods or cheats
2. “Never again” and makes themselves a literal god.
I alone deserve to rule all of calradia 😂👑
Jup
1. Play vanilla Bannerlord and start the shenanigans
2. *dies
"Fuck it."
*Proceeds to download a trainer*
Me: *Dies literally one time on a vanilla playthrough*
So you've chosen death then. *console commands engaged*
300 hours of vanilla here
10 years. AI still brainless.
More like 18 lmao
Did you ever play in hard? You can't beat ai 1 V 1 even
@@mehmetyavuz9905 I'm a Warband veteran and I mastered Bannerlord in hardest difficulty, yes. When you can't deal with AI 1:1, get good ;)
@@Tintenkobold it also effect their strategy and campaign map play. Not only fight ai
@@mehmetyavuz9905 Yeah I know, I know. From my perspective, they are still stupid, you can easily smash them. For example when I go 1 VS 50 cavalry still does not charge. Maybe it has to do with the stats of my character (no modded, all native, he is very old and skilled) but I would rate this a bug. Just one of many.
Stage 5 is becoming a rebel to your faction leader and starting your own kingdoms while fighting for dear life cause your skills aren’t high enough to persuade others to join your cause
Quick side note, your troops will hunt down those final few guys if you change them to engage mode
oh a playthrough I started normaly but ended up in the great bandit empire of britania, I can confirm that playing the beheading tyrant every other kingdom fear invading felt good XD I had vlandia make peace with me before attacking sturgia because I own all the village, castle and city around former britania XD
“I take great exception to you being alive” I AM STEALING THAT!
I am starting the tyrant phase. When I first played. Totally was player one. I didn't understand the combat and how the ai nows when I'm going to strike. I didn't play tournaments. Didn't get married. Understood clan rank and the importance of a family. Second play through. Got clan rank one and then two to get vassalize. Played on the side of my chosen nation for bonus. Understood the upgrade or trait tree better because I didn't even knew your character got a level. I thought those trait points were earned through kills. (Sorta by exp)
I understood what units beat what units and still understanding more. Sieges are a pain in the butt to win sometimes. I find letting the Garrison starve is better then taking them on 1 on 1. I have shorten my last play through by a hundred or so more days.
(I restarted because my last save got corrupted and then the map just kept lagging.)
So my goal is to beat banner lord within 486 days. I'm at 348 say ATM. So just saying this game is totally fun and if you came across it. Give it a try. It is free on game pass. Even then now that I played it. I would buy it.
Yeah feeding part is so annoying they drain the money so fast ,I'm trying to make caravan or something to make some money daily cuz I'd end up broke lol and sieges are Hella fun tbh I faced today 560 foes and I had only 260 idk how I won haha I destroyed their ram first and then moved my entire troops to the ladders kept pushing killing them slowly
Phase 4: sounds like an English Medieval 2 General when he is about to give a pre-battle speech.
when you have hundreds of hours and still pull a 1... i did it a few hours ago 💀 charged a little too far and got slashed immediately 😭
The last enemy is between the gates.
Or clipped into a wall somewhere, I hate it when that happens.
For Warband I found this mod if you are interested in China 10th century. Warband also had a Chinese map mod that focused on 10th century fragmented China. M&B - FIVE DYNASTIES AND TEN KINGDOMS
U forgot riding around with full health and getting one shot by a random javelin
You forgot "get swarmed by enemies, lose everything, and spend 2.4 years in a row as a prisoner being dragged around
Phase 5 download a million overhaul mods that adds a way more complex late stage gameplay allowing you to reestablish the calradian empire and yourself as a new emporer of all the kingdoms of claradia.
Last dude told you, he said bathroom man
stage 5: have an aneurysm because of how stupid your faction leader is
I felt this
somehow the last guy was in the middle of the closed main gate that you ignore because all your army using ladders to get inside...
or just bugged in the inside of one of the house and you cant do anything,
happen to me more than once...
Never once got to phase 4… always struggle going from 40 troops to 100+
I never get past the starting renoun grind
Last night I went so hard on destroying battania that my character was voted into being the king of Vlandia.
Daym I'm still new to it I joined the Sturgian army and I got my own small clan in them and I helped the leader take a castle and managed to vote myself to get it lmao now I got a castle for myself and I got another castle cuz that leader voted for me to have it so I got two now which is ridiculous, and my first castle got attacked by the empire that had 560 soldiers I had 110 on me and garrison in the castle it was just 560vs260 I managed to win😭
My cycle involves me getting towns and then start drowning in debt somehow from all the negative income
I don't like to read villages cuz I still have to pay soldiers wages
In stage one you ride around them in circles until there out of stones then range them down until your our of arrows then you retreat and repeat works every time and only costs your sanity.
You know, it's kinda weird in this game that even after nerfing the smithing by mods, it's still more profitable than raiding village, as later in the game you relized that destroying them is to hurt the town's economy rather than actual profiting
I mean ya, kinda hard for them to fight back if they cant get enough gold to fund a army. You dont even have to do that if you power level souting and riding skill because you can end up with -100% chance of enemy lords escaping your party. So you can go around and capture a lord and until you ransom them off they wont ever be free to hunt you down. I did this and the ai got so poor i was eventually getting 0 denar ransoms for some of the poorer lords.
@@Lickicker Yeah but in return there would be more deserters, it has its pro and cons
And one more thing, i hate the betting system in bannerlord difficult, like i understand why the profit penalty accumilated there, but it accumilated too much that at one point you either join tournament for either armour, reowned or rare weapon to smelt
@@zaholykrusedar1459 ive never had issues with deserting. Maybe dont bring empire troops to sieze empire lands and so on. I really like using raids to get the more rare food types like date fruits to keep my troops extra happy and they get happy the more you curb stomp the opposition so really the more fighting you do ends up just being a positive feedback loop of troop morale.
@@Lickicker no i mean like the deserter may attack your kingdom's caravan, especially if they are cav unit
5 phase - Fuck it I will crash enemies alone because why not
If you kill your allies, does that give you more loot ???
Nah killing your own guys on purpose is wild
I was really disappointed with this game, it was so empty with nothing to do except recruit people
If you call it empty then you must think the same for Warband, because how gameplay goes is nearly identical just with better graphics
@@KilroyGIB Yeah, but with warband, there's a tons of mods out there to reshape the gameplay to make up the replayabilty of that game
For now, we have to wait a couple more times so that bannerlord modders would release more mods for this game
So is this game like an RPG? I always thought it was just a fighting game. Is it worth a buy today?
In my first walkthrough i entered a battle with 100+ vs a caravan with about 37
I didnt know how they defeated me, until i relized that my soldiers are just a few villagers
The whole video could of just been summed up by showing a pile of unplayable shit.
Who hurt you
"I take great exception to you being alive" and that quiet swing-swang-cut cracked me up
This should be fine...... lol
To be fair to the 0 experience optimist: In Warband you could easily take out 19 looters at level 1, in Bannerlord the looters are on steroids.
Yo guys do u know when I enter the bandit cave, my army just stands there and did not fight. How to fix it? It took so long to finish them alone
1: Bow-cheese bandits or run like hell from then.
2: Farm bandits and die when you think you can fight minor factions.
3: Fight Minor Factions or become Mercenary.
4: Become a Vassal or conquer your own fief.
5: Get swarmed by other kingdoms or build yours up smartly and quickly enough to avoid the swarm.
(5.5: This is where you are destroyed by the story-line's conspiracy world war.)
6: Endgame of boring endless conquest.
Taking your own guys out is freaking crazy bro 😅. I’ve wounded 2 or 3 on ACCIDENT in the middle of very intense battles. But point blank execution is WILD my guy 😂.
A) remaining 1/2 enemies are in the gate doors
B) they’re stuck in terrain/models and You might as well jump from the wall and ff the scoreboard until AI finally kills them
Do you guys have any tips on improving relations with people in villages for the top tier recruits??? Because I’ve been doing absolutely everything and I feel like I’ve made 0 progress. No bandit camps are near the villages I want to improve my relationship with. Would owning the city tied to those villages help?
First phase is ALWAYS going city to city fighting in tournaments lol both in warband and Bannerlord 😂 chasing bandits inbetween get enough leadership, stewardship xp and clan xp so you can have 6 companions and over 100 soldiers THAN phase 2 for me is signing a mercenary contract with whoever is at war and raiding caravans and small villages lol I have yet to get beyond that point not because I don’t enjoy the game mind you. I love Mount and Blade even as people say it’s unfinished (which to be fair a lot of promises were made and have yet to come true) both games will ALWAYS have a place in my heart. I personally can’t wait until Bannerlord mods get to the same level as warband. When it comes to mods in video games, I like to stay as vanilla as possible but mount and blade has some the most insane mods i have ever seen. From Star Wars to pirate ships, laser rifles to Winchester repeaters in the Wild West mod lol I personally hope to see Game of thrones mod get to that level. I’ve always wanted my own house in that universe
I'm currently between the second phase and third phase
I just went full on economy mode after tutorial moving at 1 speed with 2-20k weight between 3 cities then realize war profiteering outside of soon to be stolen towns being seiged made better profits then winning back the same 3-5 towns in a row that my kingdom leader would peace out 3/4 of the way through breaking the walls down after spending all my gold and food.
I then left faction killing their final 3 city's I won back for them half a dozen times wipping them off the map and am now staying independent no kingdom stealing rebeling cities instead of getting attacked by everyone for having the in universes worst banner.
On original Xbox one and so I just auto resolve using horse arches at max rank because the combat is so horrible in this game and literally anything fun that the npcs do 24/7 seem to piss everyone and their brothers sisters cousins widow off enough to collapse entire social networks worse than the plague and mongal invasion combined.
I give banner lord 2 1 horse running in circles out of 20 sheildy boys taking no damage from a blade through the neck.
1. max smithing .2 generate money from crafted weapons 3. level trading skill 4. buy all the main towns
Anyone know why harmony wont won’t work on gamepass version? I’ve done everything unblocked dll and then in the bin folder their are 2 one is the win64 and the other one is the one your suppose to make it if its win 64 but, idk if im suppose to merge the files
Not only you but your vassals has to pay tributes to the enemies too, and that's why they don't have any money, hence can't do much
Feel like phase 1 is bullying small groups of looters with like 30 teir 2 troops, then phase 2 is going bankrupt cuz you upgraded your army to max with no actual income
Where's the part where you spend 3 hours smithing after the first 30 mins making 10k or so to make the best 2h axe, buy the best gear, get 10-20 levels while smithing, and sit on 5m worth of weapons to sell as you roam around the map?
When I get home I’m gonna have to cell all veterans and soldiers and soldiers at my keep. I bought a business which left me with 700 I’m a vessel with 1 castle and my king made it so low charm looses kingdom influence so I have -39
Me in Warband: Single handedly taking out a group of 30+ forest bandits or sea raiders at level 1 for easy exp.
Me in bannerlord: struggling to defeat early game bandit’s without a group of recruits as fodder
I had a battle where the last 3 guys were pushed through a door out of the map area. My soldiers would only hit the door. There was a spot where I could glitch through and hit them but they could hit my arms lol. I died before getting them all lol. TOOK FOREVER to end that battle.
This is literally my experience with the game and I love it but I gotta add even at stage 4 I'm fucking lost still and people keep taking my sieges away
"where's the last guy tell me" either inside a wall or behind a building that nobody is checking has been my constant experience 😅
I'm still in whatever phase 1v 20 with horse archery is XD. I call it outfitting my character.
As a warband player who could take on a 1v15 on warband but couldn’t even take a 1v2 on bannerlord
I had no idea you can lead 450 people without companions. I conquered calradia with 250 i thought it was max :0
Lmao started playing again and sturgia is intent upon battanias destruction. While aserai hated me for jacking a castle. Funny how there are actually periods of peace in game .
For me it jist step 3 and 4 due to me spamming warband and watchinf playthroughs before i start a campaign
Is it weird I just never raid villages in bannerlord. I did in warband if I didn't have a strong enough army but not in bannerlord I don't see it as worth while
Isn't there a button that shows the battle map?
I play the old M&B, so I don't really know how the new one works... :P
I enjoy this game without adding any modes. Game is perfect without them
Bro I first played this made my own kingdom lasted 30 days lmfao siege my city till garrison died then get screwed and if managed to defend there another army right behind it
howd you get 400+ clan without raising an army bruh?!
If you tell your men to charge, they generally attack the remaining enemies you can't find
The seiges in bannerlord are so cringe I can’t believe the devs made it so bad but I do love the game just seiges are a massive let down
in late game whit axe the game its like dinasty warrior 100 kills per battle xD
Is say im on 3 right now(Although I do keep dying to horsemen)
They should make some checks about stuck enemies in the battle, it is so annoying.
Sadece 200-300 altın harcayıp nasıl oluyorda askerlere 30.000 altınlık ekipman verebiliyoruz onu anlamıyorum.
Bro my character like die died in 11 days
Hola buenas tardes soy el de la torre de la torre de San Pedro de la calle San José de la comida
Where can you buy the weapon hes using on the 3rd part?
Phase 12: Finds out the ALT key
HELLO!! *BAP!!!*
Phase 1 captive phase 2 captain phase 3 conquer
how the fuck he got 464 troops for himselve
Thats why when i start a fresh game i run straight for the aseraii and the khuzaits, having good calvary early on is helpful
You can find the last guy by keeping 1 unit on charge mode
Stage 5: Conquer the map and get bored
So when is a good time to found my kingdom?
Нигде меня так не долбили как в этой игре. Минусов не будет
Just downloaded it and I'm addicted 😂
dude I need to start grinding this game out
Give you life to Jesus Christ,
There is no lie to the last one
How did you have that many troops in one party??
I've become rich and powerful and bored. I started beheading everything. If you're rich and powerful when you start this then, for me at least, it wont really effect the game. Yes killing lords does all the bad things but it hasn't effected my play. Except make the game more fun. I still win votes and have tons of influence. Also no more beating the same lord 12x in a row. If you are bored with BL then switch to beheading. If it worries you then make a save of the game before you chose the darkside and you can always go back. I love this game again after turning.
I recognize that last map, I know where the last guy is... Stuck behind a closed door
I never raided a single village in Bannerlord. Also forbid my AI parties to raid villages (mod). Still conquered Calradia several times.
You should choose a town or castle and name yourself of that spot and your whole playthrough is based on becoming the king of that fief in mount and blade bannerlord
I'm in a constant loop of "im too low level and so poor and this sucks" and "im a multi milionair and my troops are spartan immortals this sucks"
I'm either fighting for my life in forest archer hideouts and barely making it through arenas to gear up or auto resolving with a horde of fians or khansguard
The "I can solo any number of looters" Warband veteran to "OH FUCK" pipeline is surprisingly fast.
'Ok i should be fine'
**Runs directly to a pack of armed mans whit his weapon on his back and whitout charging**
I missed the phase where I ride alone killing bandit parties to level skills to 250+. That's 50% of my time. The rest is riding around with 8 heroes doing the same for them.
I wish they leaned into small scale warfare more. These huge battles later on do nothing for me.
