- Have you ever wanted a more streamlined DMX Stage Lighting setup? With this Enttec DMX Ethernet ODE MK2, you can control Stage Lighting over a simple ethernet network connection. In this demo I'm using Art-Net from "StageLight" on an iPad to control stage lights. In this video we are also using Resolume Arena to send Pixel Mapping signals to play video content over the lights.

It's be interested in a video using led individual addressable light strips in this same manner. You have great instructional workflow.
I actually have a video like that in the works, Keep an eye out for it.
Tried messaging on alibaba to make a purchase but no one responded :/
Hello, your video inspired me to Want to use the Enttec ODE Mk2 to control our church's lightings using Vista by Chroma Q. I have assigned a static IP address to the ODE. I have connected the ODE with Vista, however, I am not getting any signal from the Vista to the ODE. Wondering If you can provide some guidance. Thanks
So you confirmed that you can connect to the ODE from the computer running Jands_Visa? Make sure there is no Hardware issue, reboot the computer, lights, and Ode controller. Make sure Vista is talking to the ODE with Art-Net. I downloaded Vista, I’ll see about getting it working when I’m at my church later today.
@@CrazyAmazingDesigns Yes, I connected ODE to the computer running Jands_Vista. I have tried all that you suggested. Yes, Vista is talking to ODE with Art-Net but not signal coming from Vista to ODE. I would appreciate your feedback If you're able to get Vista working with your ODE.
@@EmmanuelUmoh I was able to setup the ODE and control my lighting with Vista using the ODE. I posted a video on my "Crazy Amazing Designs" Facebook Group, Check it out and see if it helps.
@@CrazyAmazingDesigns Thanks for the update. I have checked your "Crazy Amazing Designs" Facebook Group. The video is not there. Please, can you share the link to the video here?
What do you mean the number on the ode box in 3:17? Confused.
When you purchase a product from Enttec, In this case the ODE, There is a sticker on the side or top of the box that shows you the IP address of the device. At 3:17 I am trying to connect to the device, so I changed my computers IP address to something that is the same as the ODE, except the last 3 digits which need to be different.
Thanks for the great tutorial. it is posible to share us the link about how to give your pc a static ip address please?
Yes, I'm sorry for not seeing this comment. Here is a link i found. kb.netgear.com/27476/How-do-I-set-a-static-IP-address-in-Windows

Do you need to have access to ethernet every time you want to use this?
Yes. The ODE needs connected to the production network for access during an event, and that network gets internet through the WAN port on the router. -Nathan R
Or just use DhCP reserved addresses.
