I'd take the aukey webcam over this. Got both, quality is comparable, aukey is a bit better, while aukey has really wide angle - perfect for 3D printers or any situation when you want to see more than just a few square centimeters of your room. Similarly priced too.
This web cam is never supposed to be an upgrade .It's a basic webcam .The picture quality is 720p and 30 fps .As described it delivers everything . In this price range it's a very good choice .I have never used it but from the comment section I have found that most users are happy with it .If you want 1080p and 60 fps buy a better webcam which will also cost more than this .
So the "harsh truth" is just that it's a budget webcam? Most of aren't content creators. We only need a webcam for zoom or discord calls. This gets the job done for cheap. Why would you complain that it zooms in on your face? That's exactly what most of us are buying it for, to show our faces on calls.
Thanks for the video. I was deciding between this one and the C920. The C270 looks just fine to me. Nothing fancy, but still looks clear. Mic isn't an issue since I already have an external one. Plus it isn't as wide. Personally I don't like wide webcams because I don't want someone just looking at my whole room lol.

Tap it against something and it repairs itself. There are web discussions on Reddit about this issue. It worked for me.
