Just had a moment in my last game where aside from the cleric spells mentioned, I had a few more that I had prepared. One of those was Inflict Wounds. Well my party started a fight and when it was my turn I came out shot a sacred flame at one of the guys and was able to kill him. Well one of the pirates we ambushed made his way up towards me and attacked me with his dagger. Did some damage to me. Then it was my turn. My character grabbed his attacker by the forearm and said something along the lines of "Call an ambulance, but not for me." In game of course and proceeded to cast Inflict Wounds at 3rd level (currently we are lvl 6 in game) I rolled to hit and got a natural 20 for the spell. Then had to roll 10d10 for the damage. Needless to say I did enough damage to him that he turned to dust in front of the rest of the crew.
