My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ RUclips. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of RUclips I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

I was lucky enough to see them live. I knew it was gonna be epic when the lead singer came out on fire.. yes..ON FIRE! He sang the whole first song on fire using a flaming microphone. It doesn't get any better than that !

You can't go wrong with metal when you are looking for a good live concert experience. The crowd is always awesome! Always! Awesome people!
I have witnessed it because ive seen them live multiple times. Nothing is like them, not even close. Then again when i see other bands i dont have those expectations. Rammstein is my fav band and i hope that the tour next year dont get cancelled/postponed again.

You should check out Rammstein - Feuer Frei live in Moscow. They can get away with more in Russia, I believe.
I understand your point about expectations. I was when I lived in London, the oracle of all theatre knowledge. Rock concerts, I knew nothing. My oldest friend showed me Rammstein - at age 57, I'm suddenly this horrible fan-boy, it's shameful ... but ... they're just so fucking amazing! I am lucky enough to have a ticket to see them next June (fingers crossed for C-19). It is worth looking at the inspirations and the lyrics of their songs - Wiki can be damn useful! I hope you enjoy your adventure with Rammstein.

The first concert I ever went to was KISS way back in the Summer of 2000 on their first farewell tour, featuring all 4 original members. Ted Nugent opened up for them, and we were seated 2nd row, center stage. I managed to get a couple guitar picks and nearly got a piece of Paul Stanley's guitar. It was incredible.

Also just so you aren't perpetually disappointed by live shows.. You have to know that Rammstein Paris was a live recorded album.. Yes it's based on older songs they made. But imagine it to be like a comedians special, IE: Eddie Murphy Raw or Dave Chappelle Sticks and Stones. It's one concert were they pull out all the stops and they have a crowd that's hand picked among their greatest fans, who sign an agreement to give 100% participation. I'm not saying you will never find a random live concert with that much energy, that much special effects.. but they are more rare.. Certain bands put more effort into random live shows, while others pick and choose which venues they will go all out on. Also a debuting album tour might have more going on with it, than say just some randomly booked show.

Rammstein’s “Du Hast” is their best banger I think
If you are interested watch their latest concerts. There are several excellent bootleg videos of Rammstein out. Search for Rammstein live 2019 in Moscow or Gelsenkirchen Veltins arena. This is the latest tour which was interrupted by the pandemic and might come to the USA in 2021 (it was scheduled for 2020). The videos are multicam and of rather good quality by bootleg standards. Seeing them is definitely a bucket list item and there might not be many occasions left for them coming to the US.
If you only want to watch live versions of Rammstein in the future, then you are going to miss out on some very, very, very good... DAME good videos from them!

Rammstein live is a treat to experience at least once in life! I saw them live here in their native Germany back in 2011 and it was quite the experience!
Now, their official live videos are mind-blowing, but so are their official video clips! Each of them tell a story, like a short film and they are a treat to watch, so please consider also reacting to their official video clips. A few I could recommend you are Haifisch, Ohne Dich, Sonne, Ich will, Rosenrot, just to name a few. All of those are great productions, just like short films.
I was stationed in Germany (where these guys are from) and we went to "musicfests" that were all day or weekend events with the top groups. Enjoy your musical journey!

Hey James. Greetings from Iceland. Love your channel. I've seen these guys tvice, first 20 years ago and again 5 years ago. Their show is amazing. If you get to close to the stage you'll feel the heat of all the fireworks. I highly recommend it if you ever get the chance. I also recommend checking out their music videos, the are pieces of art, for example Kein lust.

I have seen Rammstein live and it was hands down one of the best show I’v ever been to. They use a lot of pyrotechnics and let me tell you you feel that heat on your face if your on the floor. Lol but they put on one hell of a show.
Rammstein has a world tour next year. Find your closest one and GO. It is magnificent. You think the videos are great? The live experience is like nothing else on Earth. The energy, the people, the music. Just, WOW.
The best concerts I have been to are Rammstein and System Of A Down. Seen both a few times and they were excellent. I also really enjoyed Green Day, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age.

Saw Slipknot at the 2019 Welcome Home Showing at the Iowa State Fair... that was the best concert i'd been too and i'd just started getting into concerts the year before.
Iron Maiden's crowds are always crazed even before the lights go down - and when the band hits the stage the audience explodes. I've also seen it with Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Judas Priest, Dio, Deep Purple, Tool, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Ray Vaughan. There's also a nonstop dancing effect I've seen with Santana, Grateful Dead, ZZ Top, George Thorogood and The Allman Brothers. And the huge rush of love effect with Paul McCartney, The Who, The Rolling Stones, U2, Pink Floyd, Apocalyptica and Nightwish.
Damn the Covid, I want to get back into a concert crowd ! ! There's about 30,000 too few people in my living room.
Crazy, high energy, highly visual, and intense concerts I've been to - Ministry , Marilyn Manson , Rob Zombie , Tool , Slipknot , Disturbed - less intense was David Bowie , Incubus , Type O Negative - less visual Metallica , Korn , Queensryche (w/ Tate & DeGarmo) - I think you can find concert footage for all of them on YT

Attila Corpus Christi 2015 Live Set was similar to this though they dont use fireworks the stage presence of the band and how they interact with the crowd is always spectacular though there are many other people who dont like this band also I should also mention that the video that I'm talking about doesn't have the best of quality so I recommend checking it out on your free time or doing a song by them one of these days! Ministry - 'Theives" from "In case you didn't feel like showing up" (these guys pre-date Rammstein by 13 years and showed 'em what's what). Oh, and I saw Ministry in '92, but it wasn't nearly the marvel that the 'in case you didn't feel like showing up' tour was.....

please note: This song of RAMMSTEIN and LINkS 2 3 4 is based on the german house of parliament. Since the first parliament in Germany people of partys for convertism were on the right side of the president of the parliament, on the left side there are socialists, these days green parties and so on. If RAMMSTEIN sings "They want my heart to be right, but if I´m looking down, I feel it left" they want to say that they are not amused about nationalism, they are against it. The song sounds like a military song, but it´s the opposite. Thank you for reading ;-)

this is a song against nationalism !!! one of the geatest songs of RAMMSTEIN
Interesting comments about the live shows affecting your expectations. I have been lucky to see, Queen, Iron Maiden, Status Quo and others live, who put on a real show. They all have one big thing in common, they started in very small venues and built the fan base. As the fan base grew, the shows grew, both in size and perfomance levels. I would guess many bands now days don't start playing in front of 50 people and spend 5 years building that fanbase. BUT remember, sometimes the Studio version is slightly different in terms of music and speed. A band like Quo would do identical sets, note for note, 10 mins quicker by the end of the tour, which does change the feel of some songs.
Keep these reactions coming buddy, but never abandon those Vinyls , compare Status Quos' Mystery Song on the Blue for You album with the live one and you will see what I mean :)
Disturbed puts on a nice show.. Slayer just flat out shreds live. Mushroom Head's live performance for me so far might have been the best.. Although I seen Rob Zombie back in 2000.. when he brings out the creeper(a 25 foot tall robot), it was pretty crazy.
What you are seeing is their stage personas. The everyday guys in the band are really chill, nice dudes, married, with kids, etc.
Despite their martial appearance and the exaggerated pronounciation by Till Lindemann they are absolutely NOT right wing extremists.
This song is their personal anti-Nazi-song. The chorus always repeats that "They want my heart on the right spot, but looking down I see it beating to the left."
And "Links 2 3 4" is the marching song for soldiers in the German army which simply means "Left two three four" which tells the soldiers with which foot to start marching, and then continue.
In this song they decry their dislike of others trying to place them to the right wing spectrum, always saying that their hearts beat to the left.
