Hey man, props for updating this, i was a little passive aggressive in my comments too so I'll apologise, I agree on sounds, the developer has made mention of it. The Aircraft was actively retired in the mid 90's from USAF service and has never really been well represented in video games like the F-14 for example, so i can imagine getting accurate sound samples would be difficult, they'll have to pretty much scratch produce something so i can see that being a bit of a mission. I just wanted to touch on stalls aswell because i noticed you did mention that before, The F-111 was an AOA aircraft with an insanely large lift / drag coefficiency, meaning it never actually stalled, it instead would enter a spiral which in most cases was unrecoverable. Subsequently all F-111's were fitted with a SIS (Stall Inhibitor Sensor) affectively meaning the F-111 never actually stalled or spiralled moving foward, and the flight model in game does quite convincingly represent that. Anyway man to get maximum enjoyment from this bird, swing those wings back, get down to tree top level and scorch the earth at 600knts for a few hundred miles because that's what they did in reality 😎
Here is an awesome flyby at 35sec of an Aussie F-111 doing just that, 600knts at tree top level, silent on approach and causes all types of chaos lol ruclips.net/video/J_Mh3dsln9M/видео.htmlsi=0hlruBWgNBZsTVby
Ok Boss. Have you found out how to button map dropping the tanks yet? When will an update be out on the sound. If we could improve the sound it would be amazing
Fun fact; even though the A-10 gets all the glory as a tank buster, the F-111 destroyed more tanks in Desert Storm than the F-111. Question, does the X-Box version have the sensitivity button in the controls options window? I have massively adjusted the dead zones, reactivity and such to give a much more realistic feel on the controls.
I will also point out that the F-111 WAS designed as a fighter, at the time Defense secretary Robert McNamara in an idea to control costs demanded that a SINGLE aircraft be designed for both the US Airforce and the US Navy that could do BOTH air superiority and Ground attack. This should sound familiar because it is the same thing they tried to do with the F-35. In order to try and fit all the requirements too many compromises had to be made and it made the aircraft VERY big and VERY heavy and this negatively impacted its thrust to weight ratio and its ability to maneuver. That said, it had respectable maneuverability for an aircraft of its size and weight and that roll rate is WAY OFF. Just youtube F-111 Royal Australian Air Force Australian International Air Show 2009 to get a look at a flight display. For the sounds they could swap out the F-18 sounds for the F-14A's sounds since they both shared the P&W TF-30 engines. Fun Fact, in a clean configuration at altitude the F-111 was the fastest fighter in USAF history, it had a top speed of MACH 2.6, just slightly faster than the F-15's MACH 2.5.
$40 for copy and paste f18 audio is insane.
I know man
Good on you for updating your review. You can keybind ADF volume up and down to wingsweep
Ok perfect man thanks!

Dam! That flyby was insane!
Sounds shouldn't be too difficult because the F-111 used the same engine as the F-14
@@spartanpr6796 oh wow ok boss

Interesting
At least you have the guts to fix your mistakes. Most people will just stick to what the say even if they’re wrong.
For sure brother. Always man. I want to lead by example dude for everyone!
@@FastTimesVero As you should.
I have many planes I don't fly because of the sound. Why not have a add-on to change the sound of any plane? You do a great job, thank you.
Great idea man!!
