Another great video Lotus experience thanks to the undying devotion of Jayemm to what is so special about the marque that we love. I was often fortunate enough as a teenager to be able to watch Jim Clark racing at Brands hatch in those glory days in the sixties of Lotus multiple wins and which inspired me to make my first car ever a Lotus and ... my Lotus 6 LJG 919 can be seen today on the Internet, still lovingly cared for and seemingly being raced. It was a great experience and led to a lifetime love affair with Lotus. I have put this black Exige at the top of my shopping list with a Cup 250 Elise in second place ...crossing fingers that the funds come in from the hard work that is going to be required. Thanks again Jayemm for the inspiration you give to aspiring Lotus owners ..."just decide you really do want one and then work out how to make it possible"

Brilliant film Stef and Jayemm. As an owner of a new Exige 350 Sport I entirely agree with your comments. Mine only has 600 miles on the clock and revving it to 5000 rpm is frighteningly fast for the public roads. Cant wait for the 1000 mile service and then I will really see how good it is.
Sometimes I wish I could have a car collection as jay Leno has it must be nice to feel and see the dynamics in a variety of differently engineered vehicles

As a fan of Lotus. I'd seriously like to see a whole hearted comparison between a 4C Spyder and an Elise Sprint 220, as at least where I live in Australia they're a near identical price/performance/configuration match. The Exige is wild, but their model prices here in Aus are much higher than 4C and it's design is a full notch more extreme. 4C vs equivalent Elise. Fairest battle. Who wins (if any), Italy or Britain?
the only person that will be most happy if you buy 4c is your mechanic..exige has toyota engine and gearbox and its being tested mr2 swaps up to 1000hp...while at 350hp it can go well over 200.000 miles...the reason why lotus owners doesnt drive them as much is because of resale value..if you aint selling evora and exige both with v6 are the best cars by far to buy with that money..no m3 no boxers no stis or evo feels like them not in looks or feeling or sound nor in reliability too
Having owned both. The Alfa is more room inside. But Lotus wasn’t allowed to keep selling the Elise/Exige here after 2011 so 4c it has become.the ride is much better than my Lotus too. Both had their sport/track packages too. My bestie say compared to your Lotus, the Alfa rides like sedan. But I do hear those British B roads are a problem.
