This is likely the most impressive custom car build I have ever seen. Your taste for colors and creativity for fitment make this Lotus absolutely gorgeous, Lotus should be jealous. Every single detail on this car I love, it's jaw dropping.

Brilliant work. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the Exige. My first contact with one was in the early 2000s when I started Kingston University. My campus had one in the reception area, it was donated by Lotus to the faculty as they were sponsoring some of the automotive engineering courses. Sometimes we got the chance to sit down inside. It was a car that I promised my self if I ever made it in life I would buy. Recently I popped back into uni just for old times sake to meet up with old friends and to reminisce about the good old days, was shocked to see the state that the little Exige was in. The university had not take care of it at all, there was moss growing in the window seals and you could see the rot had settled in the engine. There were cracks in the body and the paint was discoloured. Watching this video had triggered the urge to buy the old lotus and restore it to its former glory.
That is an awesome build! Lotus is my favorite brand as they make exciting cars with so much emotion. I can't imagine the feeling you get when you walk towards your car. I bet you walk at half the speed just to cherish that moment even more.

Amazingly clean build. When I look at a car that’s done so well and so tastefully that the car looks stock to the untrained eye, that’s perfection. Every now and then my RUclips feed offers up pure gold. Glad you popped up. Great car. I can’t say that enough.
What a beautiful build. It's almost impossible not to do something to a Lotus-they are perfect platforms for taking it a step further. My '05 Elise was "perfect" when stock, but I kept doing just one more thing...

Thanks, it really is how I wanted it to be now, if you don’t know about Exige’s, you’d look at it and just think “that’s a nice Exige”. If you do know about Exiges you can spend a long time spotting the little improvements!

The interior is out of this world! When I saw the exposed gearbox linkage I was confused...because your Exige is older then when those were fitted. Good cal into explaining and nice it can be retrofitted!
As you said, a stunning colour from the start - liquid yellow (I’m a big fan of the Ferrari giallo triplo Strato). What a project. Absolutely love the level of detail you gone to in your modifications - so much so the quality is factory finish! Any videos on track or full exhaust noise?
What a fantastic work man. It looks better than anything Lotus offers and that is crazy. Im blown away by this. You kept the Lotus spirit of keeping things simple and light but you managed to make it beautiful and extreme quality, something that Lotus still cant do. Enjoy it.

Thanks, it's sometimes difficult to know where to stop when modifying and how to keep things tasteful. I think I've managed to do it quite well, although I can't guarantee all future mods will be quite as restrained!
We own a new Alpine A110 but also looked into buying an Exige Cup 360 but I have to say, other than we would've wanted a LHD car (Germany), your Exige is perfection! Congratulations, amazing yet fasteful build!
Lotus got no business saying, “It’s impossible.” This is why they do all the cool stuff but never get the credit they deserve. But seeing as they made the Evija, I’m gonna say i think the company finally understands it’s own worth. Splendid car.

You really did some excellent improvements and have a good eye for details. Your car looks so clean almost like you sent it out to a Lotus performance shop. Tasty upgrades! Really like the switch to Ferrari vents. You have definitely Made the interior beautiful with the diamond Stitch, Alcantara and carbon. Should have come this way from the factory. Wish we could still get those here in the states. I have always loved the Exige, it's definitely a giant slayer especially with the additional HP.

My favorite mod I ever did to my exige was adding a ski box. Made it infinitely more usable.
