This album is about artifical life and intelligence.
Just listen to and read the lyrics.
And the heavy computer editing.
Although rumour has it, Syn used nothing but pedal in this song. Don't know if thats even possible but if is true, that's just insane.
Also some of these songs are inspired by Jimmy's side project Pinkly Smooth.
Thats why its so weird. This is the REAL tribute to the Rev 💪
Matt said Syn played that part on his guitar with pedals so, not really a rumor.
Nice reaction guys, this record is so out there it’s wild that a band as huge as A7X dropped and album with absolutely 0 commercial appeal. Major respect for that tho, they just wanna make whatever music they want and don’t give a shit how popular or how well it sells. “Cosmic” which someone else already recommended is amazing, it’s not a metal track tho, much more like prog rock but it’s very unique and has probably been the most acclaimed off the record. Anyway nice reaction guys, mattel is dope. Anyway I’m a different topic y’all should give the band Sylosis a listen, one of the best metal bands out there today and have a new record in the way, either of their 2 singles from it “deadwood” and “poison for the lost” would be a great choice
