I have a question. We are currently having our woo commerce webshop build by a company. We fill the content etc, do the translating but they do the original design and the develloper work. But I am stuck in the devellop environment. The text of the shop is in Dutch, but the Woocommerse shop itself is in the English version. WPML is also installed. When I, for example do a test order, originally all automatic texts were in english. So thanx to WPML I have been able to translate some texts in confirmation e-mails etc, but still not all has worked. The Woocommerce multiligual plugin is not installed, just woocommerce. Reading a lot of articles and youtube clips about this I think they should really install this plugin, as there is also a Dutch version. The question: Am i correct? Does this fix a lot of issue's?

Write some content in my mother tongue, then translate it to English. But theme comes with some strings which are in English. Ferdy.. in your example you manually translate using languages you know. Can you manually translate to a language you don't already know. Or would you always have to use the automatic translator ?
What if you had already started manually translating a website? I already have a /es/ subdirectory for the Spanish translations I've already done. But with all my hundreds of blog posts (and my Spanish is intermediate-level), it's going to take me years to translate everything. Then I heard about WPML. Can I use this without losing the work I've already done?

Is there a way to disable the browser's interaction to ask to translate the page? Even though I choose a language other than English, the browser's toolbar has a dropdown asking if I want to translate it back to English. Can this be disabled? What does the eye symbol on the translated page in dashboard mean once automatically translated. I translated my site from german to Czech. Then I made some changes in elementor in the Czech page. Then when I clicked on the eye. I lost those changes. Thanks

How do you sync the 2ndary language duplicate design. Say you make design changes on one page (main language). And you want to update to 2nd language the visual changes you made.

I am aware that f.i. pages have to be duplicated to other languages (You have that option in the Back end),. I hope you understand, having almost 150 pages this is pain stacking work. Is this the only way or are there other alternatives? In my opinion Design and Text strings are two different entities. I ran a test and found out that adjusting f.i. the homepage design, this was not catched up in the german homepage. Maybe I am overlooking something stupid. But it would make sense that if I alter the design of a Homepage this would also be implemented on the other languages? Do you have some suggestions for me?

Hello Ferdy, I use WPML for my site where I have a lot of product categories. So I reordered them with another plugin called Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order but it changed only for the basic language. How could I change the product category order for the second Language ?

I've got a One pager homepage + contactpage which I need to translate. I've been trying over and over to translate these damn pages, but it doesn't seem to work. When I open the screen and complete a 100% translating, the flag on my home page doesn't even show op (yes, I correctly placed the flags in the menu on the right). My contact page does show the English flag, but when I click on it, the page only shows my footer. Is there any possibility my theme doesn't work with WMPL? My site is not published yet, so might that also be a problem why the translation doesn't work?

When I'm on the classic editor it gets stuck on the gear icon, but when I switch to the advanced editor it resets everything I've done in Elementor in terms of design and screen adjustments. I also have a few places I changed the translation and it returns the old translation. Do you know the problem and how can I fix it?
I am using All-in-one-CEO plugin + WPML and i want to translate Home Title what do setup in AllinoneCEO. Can somebody help me how can i do it without any extra code, i mean that using just those plugins. Thanks
