I think everyone should add this WordPress plugin on their website because you can create separate URLs and get more traffic from various regions that use different languages
I first use the free version of this plugin then I use the PRO version of the plugin. You don't need to purchase the PRO but it does offer some really cool features.

What about the quality of the translation? Unfortunately I can't check the translation myself, because the only other languages I speak are german and polish. I'm asking because the translation of short texts is probably fine, but I wonder about the quality of long blog posts, that are written in a non english language.

Theses features specially seen in google search in other language only available IF you pay to get the payed version, otherwise translate but pages and others NOT available in other languages and NOT available in google search. Starts at $120 US for one language and One site and $240 US for 2. Better make by hand only for fast startup ! my 2 cents anyway.

It didn't work very well on my website, very few words were actually translated. Also, I want to be able to edit the content and optimize for the other language.

I'm starting a new web design agency and I thought design was just picking up a WordPress theme then customize it to fit the need of the businesses that I'm working with, but I recently came across some videos that talk about doing buch of things before doing the design like wireframes, moodboard then Adobe Xd then send it to the clients to know if he's OK with that before designing what makes me very overwhelmed, so Is true that this is the right path for web designer or they're just overcomplicating the process?

Hi, so does this mean that when you create a subdirectory for some other language, you can customize the page for that audience? Because I am editing a Chinese Massage Salon in Slovenia and have 2 target audiences - one are Slovenians and the other tourists.
So if I buy the premium feature, will I be able to customize the english subdirectory to tourist market desires, pains and needs?
(because having a translated website for different target markets is not efficient).

I figured it out: you have to select at "show in menu" the header option and select "no" at "show floating language selector"

hmm I tried to add GTranslate to my website however did not get any changes on the website. not sure what went wrong ... I followed the tutorial :) but some settings changed. nothing appeared in the menu and no drop-down options.

2. Go to Settings > GTranslate.
3. Configure Widget Look and Languages.
4. Add the GTranslate widget to your menu or sidebar via Appearance > Widgets.

Hello Darrel , I speak English and make a Wordpress site for with woo commerce and a template ! Now the site needs to be converted into Spanish since it will be for a Spanish speaking country only ! The shopping cart is still in English amongst other woocommerce things !

I've just installed gtranslate and my entire homepage stopped being responsive on mobile. Dropdown main menu dosent work on any pages nor clicking on blogs. The only thing that works is amazon links. Do you have any idea why?

GTranslate offers that feature for paid memberships, but it actually sucks. It breaks my site, making virtually impossible to edit. And G Translate tells me that I have to redesign my website in order to edit translated sites. So, their plugin breaks my site an I am the one who has to re design my site to accommodate them. I am in search of an alternate language translator, after using this plugin for about 4 years.

they have changed this since i used it but before it was for a specific amount of pages, but now i believe its a free trial. You may need to upgrade it after the trial is over
