Bothy 2 & 3 FAIL - Wild Camp, Lake District

We set off from North Wales on Friday afternoon to the Lake District. With some slight delays we were planning a bothy stay with a direct route for us to navigate.

A fun video to watch, many guys would struggle on that ascent even me😮
It looked like you were enjoying yourselves and having fun😅 I was a little concerned for you both when you appeared to be aimlessly trudging around in the dark at height in unfamiliar surroundings.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and we have all had fails or not researched a route. On reflection is there anything you could or should have done differently? The scenery was stunning 👌 and your video was nicely edited.

@@wildwanderwomen694 what sleeping bag did you use if you dont mind me asking

So the darker green sleeping bag is the Thermarest Questar 0F/-18C Sleeping Bag and the liner I used which is the orange ‘bib’ looking garment is an OMM brand super lightweight and hooks over your shoulder so you don’t lose it half way through the night. Gemma has the Red sleeping bag which is a Rab Ascent 900. Hope that helps :)
