had 2 quads sitting out back for a few years pulled the carb apart and jets laughed its so bad... been sitting for about 5 years lol. time to bring it back to life.
Superb mate, by pure chance I was looking for a basic video on carb cleaning ( I'm not a mechanic btw) and it turns out your stripping almost exactly the carb I have ( 250 Kawasaki klf) this was exactly what I needed to see. I was sitting stripping an old carb from a 50cc pitbike ( it was wrecked so it didn't matter if I did any damage). But by pure fluke you've shown me the exact carb....cheers mate.
Useful and straight to the point! Very appreciated
thanks, was having trouble getting mine back together and saw what I had wrong watching you take it apart.
thank you for posting this video, was very helpful.
you honestly dont know how helpful this is this saved my life (not really) i just thought you were going to do this on like a honda or something little did i know it was the exact same atv i have. thank you so much. definitely a new sub
a tip : you can watch series at KaldroStream. I've been using it for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Brooks Legend yea, have been using kaldroStream for since november myself =)
@Brooks Legend yea, been using Kaldrostream for months myself =)
Awesome! Thank you for posting!
Great vid. Took carb off a bayou 250 and cleaned it and reinstalled today. Your vid helped me be successful. LOL at the fartknocker in the background.
Thanks for the information. This was helpful.
excellent video. very helpful. thank you for posting.
good vid, gotta clean my prairie carb again tomorrow
Glad we could help.
A great trick I've found is to soak everything in seafoam for about an hour. It breaks up stuff even carb & choke cleaner doesn't
good video for beginners 😎
Thanks very much!
Thank you so much for posting this!!!
You're Welcome
Great video. Thanks! Would this be the same for a Kawasaki Prairie 360?
you're welcome
It's a beast
okay thanks for the help
+Andrew Skoke You're welcome
Do I understand correctly the small jet should be clear through the lengthwise hole?
oh cool! I have a Bayou 300!
your carb didnt have a choke cable on it? im having a hard time get the choke cable off mine
What'd you do with the choke cable?
what would be a tool list for this? just a basic one.
We're are you located

David Powers Here is a tip. Please do not reproduce.
Nice video, but i think your camera man broke wind a couple of times trying to throw you off. But your unflappable!!
The o-ring on my main jet had a crack in it and broke in half when i touched it. does anyone know where i can get a new one? should i just try an auto parts store?
late reply - ebay has really cheap entire Mikuni carb rebuild kits-good luck
A like, BUT one thing, GLOVES! GLOVES!
You mean bitch mittens?
we don't care about gloves thats for wussy's that are afraid to get dirty
Davidmenacool 2 there’s a difference between being a man and being stupid&careless.
can you use brake cleaner instead of carb cleaner
+Andrew Skoke Brake cleaner is very harsh on plastic components and gaskets. Use carb cleaner if you don't plan on replacing your gaskets, floats, and anything else plastic on the carb.
no just either use carb or soak it in with a sea foam for about a hour its more efficient
Is it okay if I just rinsed it with water😭
No that’s a terrible idea. Clean it with carb cleaner it’s like $3 at autozone .
I fell asleep watching
You skipped the part on how to remove the Allen bolts to remove the carb. Only reason I watched the vid bc I can't get to those bolts.
This quad was in pieces when I bought it so I never had to remove them
@ 10:38 dude stop what you're doing and help your buddy who's choking!
Its ok, he was only choking on my other buddy who was also in the background
