I agree! The intro and backing arpeggios have a Dracula vibe to it (especially if you play it on an organ). The name “battle with myself” backs this up also due to the narrative of Shademan’s influence on Megaman giving into the dark chips resulting in him battling with himself. This track is so epic! Shifting between the dark and desperate arpeggios symbolising the darkness inside megaman to a more light and optimistic lead. I doubt it was unintentional but it’s almost as though the song itself is battling itself light and dark.
I also think it honestly fits with Bass really well. The intro has a great climatic and powerful feeling to them, like "This is the big one", before the fast paced battle track.

Red Sun was my first megaman experience it was amazing loved the game to death. Made me watch the anime which got me into anime. I absolutly love this series
