Nice. I like the idea of using the forstner bits for the round inside. I have some oak that needs used.

That was pretty good.. I don't have the tools you used, but I got a pretty good idea on how to make one using just power tools. Thanks😁👍

I really like the style of dumbbell rack you made for a small space. Have you had any issues with it? If you were to build on again would you change anything?

Thank you so much for your comment, I am so glad you like it,there are 2 things I find out,1: leave a little bit more space for the handle, cause there’s not the same size for every dumbbells handle parts, you can measure each size of the dumbbell handle .make sure it’s won’t too tight for some of them,2:there is a little bit paint drop cause you put it in and take it out every day,but don’t worry ,it will cover when the dumbbells put back!hope I explain cleanly to you, thank you for watching it, I will update some new videos each week!Hope you also can like it,have a great evening!

I like the design and would like to modify it to add a back so it could be mounted flat onto a wall so the dumbbells' would stack vertically. If I do that, what angle would you recommend for the slots?

I think you can try top slot 35 degrees ,the bottom slot 13 degrees ,it’s hard to discribe I hope you can understand 😅

Could this be made with 4 sides instead of two? We have 10 sets to store. Also could it be on casters?

I think you can do 4 sides , but you should pay attention don’t let the sides to close, you need enough room to put the dumbbells in! I am not sure about the casters, cause I don’t think the wood can hold all the dumbbells weight when the casters on,and I don’t know if the casters can hold all the dumbbells weight 🤔!But that’s a great idea if it can works!👍

Why not use a piece of wood to push the wood at 2:15? Having your hand that close to the blade was concerning.

Thank you for your advice, I usually use a piece of wood to push,if you check some other video you can see it,but sometimes it’s might be forgot when I am working on it, I should be pay attention to it, thank you again and want to remind everyone that’s dangerous!Don’t copy that!

Cool, now I just have to buy a woodworking factory to build this rack to save money on those overpriced store bought ones.
