    Gym in a box, freaking love it. That also reminds me that I should be using dumbbell presses when I can. I got a rack but it doesn't hold enough weight to challenge me at all.

    everything is really nice except that raw edge of leather around the box. id trim it out with something..it annoyed the shit out of me like it wasn't finished..

      matanuska high totally agree, and the paint at the bottom coulda been a little straighter on the one side.

      Agreed.

    • @tiawilliams5690

      matanuska high It would have made more sense to upholster a separate piece of plywood (tucking under the edges), and attach it to the box with screws. The unfinished edge doesn't bother me as much as I'm not sure that upholstery job is going to hold up.

    I like how you discuss the problems you experienced along the way in several of your videos - keeping it real and acknowledging things need to be learned. I would like to know where you got the white pull-up bar (or whether it is that you painted it from the one you made in another one of your videos? It just seems not as obvious in your apartment
    )

    Very cool and practical for someone with limited space. I watched your Ted Talk so I understand your free design philosophy a lot better now, but I am curious what you do with all of your builds after you complete them? Do you keep them, give them away, store them somewhere in your condo? Cheers.
