This video shows two different playthroughs of the story mode on the default difficulty level. The first is with Godzilla, and the second (beginning at 21:11) is with Mothra.
Godzilla: Domination! is a offshoot of Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee that appeared on the GameCube and the original Xbox. There are some differences in content between the two games, but the adhere to roughly the same structure and style of gameplay.
It's a fighting game that pits some of the most iconic Godzilla kaiju against one another as they strive to save the world from the manipulations of an alien race. Unlike some older Godzilla fighting games, this one isn't a strictly one-on-one 2D affair.
Patterning itself closely off of SNK's King of the Monsters games, Godzilla: Domination features destructible cityscapes, and it actively encourages you to wield anything you can hold as a weapon - buildings included. Sometimes you fight a single monster, while other times multiple kaiju will team up to take you down, but the goal is always the same. Dominate them.
It's neither a terribly serious nor very deep game, but it does a good job of providing a fun bit of mindless button mashing. And just like its console cousin, the multiplayer modes are a blast, and can be played with a single copy of the game (though a single cart will limit everyone to playing as Godzilla - for access to the full roster, everyone needs their own copy). The city and the monster graphics look great, and the sound is pretty authentic - each kaiju even gets its own trademark screech!
It doesn't have the legs to last long compared to some of the more technical fighters on the GBA, but if you are a fan of Gozdilla or The King of the Monsters, Godzilla: Domination! is a fun cart to jump into.

It's a lot of fun, if a bit repetitive.
I also had this game as a kid, and I liked it, except for the fact that the final boss had no clear indicator of where to land a hit.
EDIT: I meant to say no health bar. Also, 99 seconds to beat the final boss? That's asking a bit too much of the player.

If you like the idea of having a shrunken down version of Destroy All Monsters Melee or King of the Monsters in your pocket, Godzilla: Domination! certainly fits the bill. It's a bit insubstantial, but it's a blast to play.
I think it’s a good outlet when we are nervous.

Man I remember this makes me tear up man ohh how time flys when you have fun.
I remembered playing the gba Edition of Godzilla.
This is still the only Godzilla game I ever had fun with. It's a fast-paced game with a very cartoony presentation, while everything else is practically a "guy in thick costume sim"
The final boss was always so hard
I had this game and still remember playing it! It really was a blast!
I saw a few comments talking about how hard the final boss was but to be honest I always had a much harder time on stage five. The boss isn't the biggest deal in the world once you know what your doing but I remember how brutal fighting a 1 v 3 battle was. Once they got me pinned against one side of the stage it was near impossible to escape and even when I did I've no doubt lost a majority of my health not to mention it was pretty easy to get pinned in the first place. It was one hell of a difficulty spike. It's crazy how easy you made it look.
the hype of the upcoming movie unlocked this wild piece of my childhood memories. I spent hours open hours placing only as mothra and my brother would always b mad at me lmao. glad to see a full play through to revive my memory

The final boss beat my ass as a kid. I think it took me a good hour to finally put Mecha Gihdora down.
I remember loving and hating this game at the same time. I wish it could have been just a traditional tournament fighter style game but I kept going back to it for some reason lol.

This game was amazing, I always got stuck on mecha king Ghidorah with Godzilla, I beat him with king Ghidorah and mecha Godzilla with the rocket hand but no one else. I want to play this game so bad this shit was my childhood.

Just look up the japanese version. Godzilla is more of a grey with blue plates on his back and mechagodzilla is the Kiryu version
