Pretty sad this game fell into the same trap a number of platformers on the 16 bit consoles and the Game Boy did back then. You're sort of correct. The Daffy clones ARE your target, but they'll respawn for as long as a single paint can or tube remains intact. Once they're all broken, then you can finish off the remaining Daffys and the battle is complete.

If done correctly, a Warner+Sega/Atlus team-up could result in the bizarre, but wonderful idea for a crossover remake of two games. *Run Saber+Bugs Bunny In Rabbit Rampage=Run Saber Rampage Starring Bugs Bunny!* Imagine *Bugs Bunny* teaming up with the Run Sabers *(Allen* and *Sheena)* to stop *Dr. Bruford* and his handler, *Daffy Duck!* Yes, Daffy Duck was behind the chemical mutations! Bruford is just a puppet so no one suspects it's Daffy...except for Bugs, but Bugs keeps that info to himself as Allen and Sheena don't find out about Daffy till the last level. Daffy's reasoning...to get the best of Bugs who he hates! Heck, *Kurtz's* "malfunction" was due to him selling out to Daffy Duck in the first place! Play styles are very different between the two games. Here are the differences between Bugs and his cyborg friends: +Bugs can use most of the power-ups that Allen and Sheena can't (such as dynamite sticks and toy tanks armed with real ammo etc.). +Bugs has tougher hide, meaning he takes less damage from enemy attacks. +Some things (like the lava in the Grey Fac) will only damage Bugs Bunny (a lot at full strength), instead of instant kill like the other two. +Bugs is much stronger than Allen and Sheena (who would have thought that CREAM PIES would be more powerful than elemental swords?). +Bugs can stun most enemies with his attacks. +Bugs doesn't suffer from enemy knockback much, making it tougher to knock him into a pit etc. -Bugs is slow on foot. -Bugs attacks slower. -Bugs can't climb walls and ceilings. -Bugs can't destroy enemy bullets. -Bugs' special move (the spinning clothesline) is not very effective against enemies, and to make matters worse, it's constantly draining Bugs' health whether you hit the enemy or not. More useful to increase Bugs' speed through tough sections of a stage. Now Run Saber has the characters respawning at the spot they died, while Bugs Bunny uses a checkpoint system. My idea for a combined remake is to use the checkpoint system. It especially would be funny to see Daffy "erase" Allen and Sheena when they lose a life instead of disintegrate. In fact, one of the few power-ups of Bugs that Allen and Sheena can use is the checkpoint power-up ("Bugs was here," "Allen was here" and "Sheena was here"). In a two-player game, when one player loses a life, the body remains at that spot and the other player must continue by themselves until they complete the stage or lose a life. From there, both players respawn at whoever dropped the last checkpoint marker. And here is the order of the stages with the two games combined: 01. Snowfield (Allen and Sheena wake up [after Kurtz sabotages the ship, and escapes from it] and the two of them find themselves surrounded by *Elmer Fudd's* hunting dogs that they have trouble fighting off until Bugs saves them with exploding dog biscuits, and thus begins the odd, but wonderful partnership of cyborg and rabbit) 02. Old West Saloon 03. Taj Base 04. Bullfight Ring (since Allen and Sheena cannot use anvils, they have to slash Toro multiple times [or use their special move] to stun it) 05. Bavarian Forest (even Allen and Sheena get turned into *Michigan J. Frog* if hit by the wicked witch's spell!) 06. Tong City (remember how Nintendo complained about a giant statue of a beautiful woman being destroyed at the end of this stage, resulting in the statue being changed to a skeleton woman? The giant statue of a beautiful woman is in this version, but with a twist. It's face begins to "melt" as the damage increases until the face is that of a skeleton, at which point Bugs [whether you are playing as him or not] throws a mirror at the statue, which it catches and looks at it's reflection...where it freaks out and runs away!) 07. Martian Space Highway (remember that shortcut at the beginning of this stage? Not anymore. You must progress in a linear path to get more vehicles to show up. Also, there is now a boss fight with *Marvin The Martian* on the final vehicle with the teleporters, and Marvin drops a key that activates the teleporter to Jodvalley [replaces one of the Pismo Beach teleporters] when he's defeated) 08. Jodvalley *(Pound* of the Monstars is riding on top of the boss of this stage. When defeated, the monster turns on Pound) 09. Tasmania (if Bugs is on the field, he'll take first priority in defeating Taz by dressing in drag like in Rabbit Rampage. If Sheena is on the field with Allen or by herself, Taz will all of a sudden be mesmerized by her beauty after enough damage is done to him. If Allen is all by himself, Taz will actually defeat him, only for Allen to be saved by the female Tasmanian Devil, who apparently likes Allen) 10. ACME Fac 11. Grey Fac (after defeating the boss of this stage, it's revealed that *Ralph Wolf* was inside controlling it as he takes a big fall) 12. Los Angeles Sports Arena (Allen and Sheena automatically activates the Black Hole power-up [when they touch it] when it shows up after doing enough damage to Crusher) 13. Haunted House (the third Kurtz battle happens at the end of this stage rather than in the middle of Bruford Island. After Kurtz is defeated, a giant eraser on top of a pencil shows up and "erases" Kurtz to the shock of Allen, and the horror of Sheena! Bugs is not fazed at all however. The door at the end of this stage that said "animator," now says "Bruford") 14. Bruford Island (after defeating Bruford, the "animator" door appears in a passage way shortly after the room Bruford died in) 15. Animation Studio (both the Robin Hood AND Cowboy Daffy's must be defeated after destroying all the paint can and tubes to end Daffy's chemical mutation plot) After defeating Daffy Duck, the ending plays out the same like Run Saber with the little girl (from Run Saber's intro) reunited with her parents as Allen and Sheena look on. This time, Bugs is with Allen and Sheena. After the credits are finished, the camera pans left as not too far from the family of three is crates of lit explosives with Daffy Duck behind them. The camera switches to a close-up of the lit explosives as Daffy pops-up to yell "You're despicable!" to Allen, Sheena and especially Bugs. The camera switches and zooms in on the family, and while embracing, the explosives go off, blowing up Daffy! The family is unfazed however. The camera finally switches to a close-up of Allen, Sheena and Bugs. The former two are stunned with what just happened to Daffy, while the latter is unfazed as he says "Ain't I a stinker?" The end.

I don't think it's such a black and white case; after all, the Metroidvania genre is borne from having branching paths and movement/power upgrades that remove more obstacles and unlock more routes you can take, having a tight relationship between progression and exploration.
@@tamerkoh Are Metroidvanias platformers? I dunno at times. Sure you run and jump and you attack obstacles but they focus a lot on exploration in a way that you don't see for a Super Mario Wonder or Sonic Superstars.
@@NotaPizzaGRL And yet those same franchises also have the well-received games that focus more on exploration, like Sonic 3 and Knuckles and Super Mario 3 and Super Mario World, with the secrets for the former and second exits for the latter. @@tamerkoh Thank you, I'm always annoyed when people black-and-white the issue. Sure Sonic games were fast, but that was only part of the game, balanced by skillful platforming and Chaos Emeralds. @AtlasBlizzard I didn't like Sonic Advance 2 due to the boring look and ridiculous level design but it was made for speedrunning. It takes a lot of skill to master that game especially once the tricks come into it. I felt Sonic Rush pulled off what that game tried to do way better but that game was where that shift started.

@@NotaPizzaGRL And yet those same franchises also have the well-received games that focus more on exploration, like Sonic 3 and Knuckles and Super Mario 3 and Super Mario World, with the secrets for the former and second exits for the latter. I'd say it's more so about good execution versus bad execution, rather than linear vs non-linear. There are bad linear games and there are good non-linear games.
@@tamerkoh Thank you, I'm always annoyed when people black-and-white the issue. Sure Sonic games were fast, but that was only part of the game, balanced by skillful platforming and Chaos Emeralds. Sega took the wrong message, which led to games like Sonic Advance 2, where there's only speed and no skill or true platforming at all.
The fact that I literally just tried this yesterday and now I'm seeing it on my feetd is crazy
Adoro esse jogo. Ficou bem fiel ao desenho do Pernalonga. Se puder faz vídeo tb de EARTHWORM JIM e EARTHWORM JIM 2 do SNES. Obrigado pelo vídeo.
To anyone watching this video, if you've never played this game, next chance you get, PLAY IT! It's challenging, but pretty great fun.
Bugs is the sexiest and smartest character ever created.

Bugs out here kicking woodland creatures
I'm surprised that he didn't use the paint brush on the black cats. It would summon Pepe le pew in a balloon to grab the cats.
Nostalgia 😢
As mediocre as this game is, the sprite work looks amazing. Bugs and company are just as lively *_here_* as they are in the cartoons. They even managed to fit in the slapstick humor.
The game aint mediocre >:(
@@W4lmartbag the game IS mediocre.
@@simonedavidalemanno6459 ITS NOT MEDIOCRE
@@W4lmartbag It really isn't that great. Sure, the presentation is great as it captures the spirit of most Looney Tunes cartoons quite well, but the gameplay is incredibly flawed.
@@Dorian_Scott how is it flawed?

Ça me rappelle mon enfance sur super Nintendo ❤
@6:18 the music changed and it sounds like boss battle from Super Mario Bros 2
0:06 the company that brought you Batman for the NES
I rented this...almost beat it
I used to own this game as a kid, and I always got very frustrated by how unfair it seemed to be. Not only were levels sprawling and hard to navigate, enemy attacks were difficult to avoid, and the game just seemed to go on for SO LONG. It's probably not as hard as I remember, I should go back and revisit this odd little title, but kid me just flat out HATED this game.
I love this game when I was a kid and Bugs Bunny 🐰 is my favorite character in Looney Tunes
man the forest level after the bullfight i always get stuck on as a kid 😫
kicking dogs in the face. only bugs can get away with that
Road runner: beep beep
Me acuerdo que de nene nunca pude matar al segundo jefe, le pisaba la cabeza y no moría mas...
When Elmer did it he succeeded in getting Bugs and I didn’t like that
But when Daffy tried it he STILL fails! Daffy just can’t catch a break! So on Duck Amuck DS, Daffy is just Bugging himself
10/10 graphics
This is what I miss when it comes down to Looney tunes haven't had a good game in this genre a freaking sports game that's the newest Looney toon game that's out right now 😡😡😡😡 I'm just pissed off about that I want something like this or a remake of bugs Bunny in time this is what I want
"Wow, this game really looks and sounds like Looney Tunes! Amazing!"
*Bugs Bunny starts brutally kicking dogs to death*
"Uh... never mind."
tremendo juegazo nunca lo juegue solo miraba a mi hermano jugarlo
the wabbit took it too far.
Remember renting and being severely disappointed with this one. It looks alright but it sounds awful and plays like crap. Seriously Sunsoft, what the hell?
Yes, it's absurd. For example, basic enemies have like half a dozen hit points? What also doesn't help is the hit box detection is weak.
You haven't lived until you played "Bugs Bunny In Double Trouble" for the Genesis. The frustrating navigating and the sloppy controls make Rabbit Rampage a bit more playable.
My game ❤

It's cool if you have a lot to say about a game, but could you please keep the comments in a single thread? That way they won't clutter up the entire comment section.

Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout is unfortunately a much better game than this. Also did they forget to put in an ending?

Hey I have this video game but I don’t have a Super Nintendo

I'd say that while the visual side of the presentation is fine, the sound design is really lacking. So many things lack the proper impact, or any sound at all, making them even less satisfying.
For a Viacom New Media game though this is probably the best you could get. I remember how frustrating the Rocko's Modern Life game was. At least this had decent controls.
@@psychopathyoutubeemployees280 Yeah it is kinda weird.

This is another game I'll avoid playing. Because Sunsoft really lost its talent when the SNES came out.
I don't even know if to like Looney Tunes anymore...
Wabbits.
I wish they would bring games like this back not that f****** sports crap they decided to make a Looney tunes game but sports the last one we got it was okay it was for the Xbox 360 and it was all turning guns I really didn't like it that much
Great looking game graphically but looks boring to play
Do kids today even know who bugs bunny is?
I feel sorry for any parents who shelled out money for this garbage
