Depends on the state. In liberal shit hole that is new York, if I hear someone in my house, confront them and smoke them I would be charged with murder. Just like the 65 yr old Bodega owner when this woman was refused credit for a bag of chips she got her gud Boi bf to deal with him. The bf went behind the counter blocking the guy from escaping and assaulted him. During the assault the lady pulls out a knife and joins in, the old guy gets a knife stabs the bf once which gave him an opportunity to run which he did. This was all captured in 4k byw.Gud Boi died and the black DA with clear bias charged the old man with murder and paraded the woman as the poor victim. Threw the grandfather in rickers and made his bail 1 mil. There was minor outrage and tye POS DA doubled down. It was only after it became national news did they drop the charges. The female who instigated everything and who pulled knife from her purse and slashed the guy was never charged.
