- The Chicago Bears have their 2024 opponents set and from the looks of it, The Chicago Bears are going to win a lot of games this year.
They play their usual suspects like the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings. And out of the NFC North, The Chicago Bears had by far the best off-season out of the group.
For the rest of the teams they play, the schedule isn't as bad as you think. The Chicago Bears play the

When looking at that list, you have more than half-a-dozen teams that are either in a rebuild, or worse than the Bears. Not only that, but Chicago has 9 home-games this year, having an advantage over everyone else.

I would not plan on a 10 + win season, got to remember it will be a rookie QB, or TB or whoever the other QB is. Let the next QB sit and watch for a while is how you develop a rookie QB. Too many times teams throw a rookie to the wolf's and ruins their career. Let him sit and sacrifice wins for development. If he develops faster than perceived, cool then start him. During the preseason they will be able to get a good look at his early on development, if he proves himself to be the starter at that point, then so be it, start him. But do not just say he is the starter, learning curves.
The Bears did not just beat the Patriots in '85, they destroyed them in that SB, the ONLY disappointment from that game is Walter did not score a rushing TD.
Caleb Williams he is a rookie quarterback he is unproven on the NFL level I am not going to inspect a lot out of him

Here's an advantage in the division that no one is mentioning - Fluss is all over figuring out our defense for the known offenses of our division opponents. However, they DON'T have any tape on our NEW offense w our new QB, Caleb. This is big!!!

With the roster Poles is putting together, along with the opponents this year, this team should be 9-8 if Bagent were QB1. With a rookie, I'd say either 9-8 or 10-7.
If they went 9-8 but split with the Packers and were competitive with the Lions, I'd be happy.
The Bears are not the best team in the division this year. It's all just coming together and there's a rookie qb. Detroit is better, and so are the Packers (assuming Love doesn't regress in his second year). We'll have the third best QB in division this year, most likely. 2025 is the year this team should start to peak, but I'd like to see them compete for a wildcard spot this year.
The 49ers game could be a good barometer on how the team is progressing (assuming that the game is not early in the schedule). If they can keep from getting blown out, and they make it competitive, it's a good sign for the direction of the Bears.

Yes. If the Bears defense continues to hold up, I think Caleb and his new receivers and running back should be good for at least 3 more wins than last year. Not sure if 10 wins is good enough to make the playoffs though. But I CAN see them winning 12.
Here is how:
They split their 3 division games, lose at the Texans and lose to the Rams at home, that’s 5 losses.
Then they go on the road and beat the Cardinals, Colts, Commanders and my 49ers, who will be dealing with their Super Bowl Jinx.
And at home they beat the Titans, Patriots, Panthers, Jaguars and Seadogs. That leaves them at 12-5.

Packers don’t win on talent, they are extremely well coached, and they game plan us perfectly. Justin was easy for them to game plan, same plan every game, keep Justin in the pocket, make the offense one dimensional. On defense their Oline just gives us fits, but it’s not that talented. They got a really good RT, Bak was hurt, LT is ok, their Center is mediocre, their WR are nobodies. They just out game planned the Bears, and for some reason they just kill us in the trenches. I think part of that is they are in the Bears heads. Bears need a confidence boost.
Bears need to come out, and punch the Packers in the mouth. We played the Lions hard both games, we didn’t do that with GB. We also need to get pressure on Love he just sits back there unchallenged.
I don’t trust Davis, Bates is a backup, Shelton is mediocre, Jenkins is good when healthy and it’s like he’s never healthy. We need interior Firepower on both sides, and a deep threat WR who scares them. Yeah you keep Caleb in the pocket, see how that works out. Cause if BTJ is blowing your top off and you double him, Allen and Moore are just gonna gut you. I don’t care if we trade back for Murphy acquire a 2, and go for a guy like Worthy later, and look for a guard in the 3rd. We need a burner, a DT who is a serious pass rush threat Murphy, Wingo, Hall, whoever, get some dogs.

Chicago Bears fans we are being overconfident 2424 season last year 2023 we were overconfident I am not getting too excited for the Bears upcoming season things could happen quarterback could get hurt or the Bears could have a lot of injuries so I am not going to get too excited for the Bears upcoming season
