It is a small but spectacular city situated in the western Chicago suburb of Kane County IL. It’s without a doubt one of the best places to raise a family and enjoy life in Illinois, and not to mention, one of the most instagrammable.

I like visiting Downtown Geneva with me and my wife. She would have to take two Metras which is the North Line to the West Line. I would take the Metra Electric to the West Line because I don't like the Red Line subway trains and I like to avoid that going home.

I used to live in downtown Geneva. It was a lifelong dream to live there. I miss it alot especially during Christmas. It is spectacularly festive!

Fun fact, downtown Geneva was the filming location for a key scene in the film "The Road to Perdition". Across from the downtown Starbucks Tom Hanks is shot by Jude Law while tracking down the mob accountant in the historic Hotel Geneva (building still standing! Now a music store). You can spot the apartment the scene with jude law was shot in by its large wide bay window. It's a very distinct window and unusual for the time period. Highly recommend any Geneva natives check out the film so they can see their hometown in action on the silver screen!
That's such a cool piece of Geneva's history! The filming of 'The Road to Perdition' definitely adds a unique touch to the downtown area. It's fascinating to think about Tom Hanks and Jude Law acting out a scene right here. I'm sure many Geneva residents and visitors would love to spot the locations from the movie. I like living in the city and in the suburbs everywhere and in the country some places. I do not like the MS delta it sucks.

How is it a "suburb of Chicago" if it's in a different county? Born in Chicago here, answer carefully...
