Loved the video..There are times I would love to get into reviewing but, just as you mentioned, there is a responsibility that comes with that to do a good job especially when a person has strong ethics in what they present. I don't want or need the extra pressure because candles are my way to relax..I don't want them to feel like a job..I am glad you are able to keep it balanced. I think you and everyone else waiting for the second Halloween Launch will want the Black Cat jar..I hope Kringle anticipated that and poured more of that one so it will last more than 5 minutes.

You know what's so weird about Summer Boardwalk? Surf Shop and Sweet Tea & Lemonade from the same collection have been burning perfectly for me! It's such a shame.
@@JKC1138 the inconsistencies are truly baffling. My Sweater Weather is burning like a champ, but the rest of these Fall candles have been underwhelming. Cuddle Weather has been the only promising one on first burn.
Hi Katie. I really enjoyed this video. You inspire me to want to declutter my candle stash. I have loved home fragrance for many, many years and frankly not even sure where to start with the decluttering. I worked for Yankee Candle for 13 years, while at the same time working two other part-time jobs, so my candle stash, along with home fragrance stash is quite large - Reed diffusers, plug-in units, votive candles, wax melts, tealights, and many different sizes of candles in the mix!!! I guess I became a collector. Since then, I have branched out into other brands but at some point it becomes a bit overwhelming. Is your candle collection all large jars? I was just curious. You seem so organized and intentional with what you purchase....please keep doing these inspiring videos. I like how you give opinions on what candles blend well with other candles. Have a nice day!😊😊

Yes, at this point, I think most of my collection is large Kringle jars, the standard Homeworx 4 wicks, a few large Yankee jars & then the standard size BBW 3 wicks. I think when a collection becomes overwhelming, it’s no longer fun for me. I also know that I have a limited amount of storage space, so that’s also motivation. One thing that I do with my storage space is group the candles by season instead of brand. I feel like this helps me get through them easier by being able to come up with fragrance combos. 😊
Hey Katie, happy manic Monday, had a busy morning with errands to run lol, you get the drill. Decluttering can be both a positive and negative experience. I don't declutter except if this counts I've given away a few backups in the past and just gave away a candle that for me would suffer puny wick syndrome if not burned appropriately. I still have at least 200 candles to burn since I bought the new Fall ones at BBW. Went there today and bought Pineapple Mango and Mahogany Teakwood laundry detergents, my first two to check out and got the triple points offer. It must feel good to declutter, to dwindle your collection at times. I pulled HW Santorini and Peanut Butter & Raspberry Jam to burn this month. I'm burning BBW Bergamot Waters (nice mushroom tops aka carbon balls) and really like this scent, reminds me of a large lake mixing with the ocean; fresh and clean. Sorry to hear about your Summer Boardwalk puny wicks problem, my Blue Verbena & Lime had the same issue, I'll cut the wax around the wicks and hopefully will burn. Just to let you know, there's another RUclips candle reviewer called Thecandlenurse and she lives in Arizona. She does BBW and Country Candle hauls/reviews. Check out her channel sometime. She quit her nursing job and has her own wax business. Happy burning :) Don't forget, besides Black Cat being a candle, Janet Jackson did a song with the same name lol.
@@scottvanhille5688 yes, these puny wicks with BBW are an ISSUE recently 😫. It does feel good to pass on fragrances to others because most of my friends don’t treat themselves with fragrance purchases, so they genuinely appreciate the “hand me downs.”
