Do you use camera lens protectors?
Are they a worthwhile buy?
Absolutely worth it in my opinion. The loss in picture quality is negligible if the lens protectors are of good quality. You reallllly have to spend hours today see any differences in picture quality
I havd them on iPhone 14 Pro. Watched some videos saying how bad they are, but I feel great knowing they're on. Same with this phone, I've ordered them, Spigen magsafe one case with mag ring, I think that will be great with such a large phone.

Does the lens protector affect picture quality? we need to have a review of the same object pictures before and after installation
I use this exact brand and it does not affect the picture quality whatsoever, no glare/ reflection etc or anything. If you look up the reviews, esr has the best feedback and no one has complained about it affecting photo quality or videos. Hope that helps. 😊

Great content. I have the same lensed protectors on my s23 ultra in phantom black. Got the black ring. And it doesn't affect any picture taking or come off using the supcase unicorn beetle pro or I-Blason Armorbox or poetic spartan.
If you're gonna use camera lens protectors, buy branded ones like this one by esr. Avoid using those cheaper ones because they degrade the quality of the camera. Some have flaring issues, some blurry which defeats the purpose of owning an s23ultra in the first place. Esr camera lens protectors are the best I have tried. They're the only ones I had tried that doesn't degrade camera quality. It's like you didn't put anything in the first place. This one I highly recommend! 👍
They are all the same. It's just different branded and packaged. I have tried ESR and cheap amazon ones
I went to the verizon store to have the camera lens put on. Since I was kinda clueless as to how to put them on, I had the salesmen do it. Come to find out, he was clueless also. The price for the covers were $27 and some change. Well he went to put them on, he thought the whole thing stayed on and since I didn't see the package or the instructions, I thought the same thing. So he took it back off and gave me a refund. I figured out later the lens protectors are actually on the camera. So mine were free.
Just fitted these to my S23U, great fit and also fitted the spigen thin fit case with no problems

@Paul Rankin I like it alot traded in a s21 so a big step up. Glad I made the choice instead of going with standard S23. Had it 5 days now so still playing around with it to get it just how I like it
@@MrJason4778 nice, it is an amazing phone this year for sure, I’m actually at the point were I’d even consider my main sim going in this, did you pick an online exclusive colour or one of the newer ones?
@Paul Rankin I stuck with the black, put it straight in a case so the colour doesn't really matter to me. Stuck my main sim in plus my works sim, you can tell the difference in speed when it comes to opening my works 360 account.

Nice vid mate...was wondering wow I just ordered these yesterday, because of the thousands of reviews no brainer...but I got the clear, makes sense to me...I was gonna ask how you like the esr case honestly, because I need something that can take a drop for real, and I ordered minoldo? No adhesive tempered glass screen, curious how you would pair things maybe help me decide, I have the olive green...like the video, glad to be getting my accesories and can't wait to start using the phone, heard so much, and I am rock'n my old note 9 first android been through alot, so time move on gotten 23ultra and looking forward to see how awesome things are going to be with it. these are not compatible with original samsung cases like the silicone case right?
I showed it with Original Samsung leather case with no issues so can’t see why it would be any different for the silicone
These don't work with Samsung leather case🤔.
Maybe if you take the small ones off it might.
Unfortunately these don't quite fit properly with Samsung cases.
There is a slight lift(which you can also see in your video) around the the larger camera's
Ive told this story a few times, it happened on the S22 Ultra but I had no issues with my S23 Ultra, I had to push the case down at the back a little and it soon snapped into place but when removing the leather case one of the Protectors came with it

How are these ones in terms of controlling flares, had an s22 ultra one and stadium lights were blown out
I too had this issue with some different brands on s22u but that finally changed when I put the esr brand protectors on it. When I preordered the 23u the esr ones here are only ones I'd put on it
Is there any chance lens to crack with such pressure?
it shouldn't do the glass is normally quite tough on lenses but a drop to the floor could definitely break them
Does it cover the microphone on the button of the top camera lens ring? If so, wouldn't that hurt audio recording quality?
no the mic sits just underneath doest cause any issues when recording
Becaus of that video I ordered the Samsung leather case and the ESR lens protectors.
The three large protectors fit into the cases cutouts perfectly but the two small protectors definitely don't fit and bump the case up.
I then removed the two small protectors and then you can push the large protectors perfectly in place making them sit flush with the back of the case. That is a perfect tight fit at the moment but for sure the lens protectors will come off if I have to remove the case one day.
Thank you so much. But I got a question. I tried several lens protectors and all have failed. The small lenses would cover the whole lens and be pushed down, is that supposed to be for all lenses or not? Another question, for the big lenses dose the protector lay ontop or cover the whole lense all around ?
I wonder if you can use the beastgrip alongside with the lens protectors

How is the picture quality and autofocus with the ESR lens protector? I'm currently using one from Mowei and that causes the autofocus to no longer work in low light. I want to replace the Mowei one but I want to be absolutely certain I don't get the same autofocus issue again. I know Spigen and some other brands have the same problem for the S23 ultra.

Hello! Got some camera protection lens like you on my s23 and i wanna get them out and i don't know how. Cand you help me? I can't find anyware the get them off and it's very frustrating.

Can the Mous case be compatible with Spigen or ESR lens protector? I'm afraid it wont fit well with the case.

It fits and looks awesome but believe me it affects your picture quality specially the night mode. Pictures are coming out too blurry not happy with it and it's waste of money.

Well you must understand the case has to be open from the back were the camera is it can't be shaped to the bump or it won't work

@Glenn Tuyu yes know if it shaped to the circles then no the camera area must be open to have these on I got some not ESR tho they came with Matt screen privacy protectors and are awesome give you that piece of mind those will break and not the camera lens on a hard fall

Love your content. We have similar minds. I love the esr, and spigen camera lens protectors. However they work with my zero one case and the esr bottom kickstand case but not so much with my samsung silicon case which is quite a bummer.
It sucks because I'm really loving the green silicon case, now I have to decide between protecting my camera lenses or live on the edge with the phone in this case looking and feeling great

@@PaulRankinYT try slicing the protector in half and take a picture with the half applied then compare. The quality is less sharp and there are some lens flares in your shots (though not that noticeable). Also there is haziness in the shots.
@@aka1721 do not under any circumstances even attempt to slice one in half and do that, no picture will ever look good as you’ll have a line were the protector is placed
There is always haze in nighttime shots on the Ultra when you go hand held in dark situations as the camera and software is trying to compensate for darkness and shadows, some people are all for protectors and some don’t like them I get it

I'm also not just talking about haziness in the nighttime shots. It's in every pic my dude.

This has just made my night, I hate to break the cringe factor but it’s a backdrop, I use them in most of my videos, my desk is a grey ikea one but I use backdrops laid flat just to break it up a little
