I got my s23 ultra last week and I remember my friends always scolding me for getting phones and not using them to max. I only brought it for battery life tbh but all the added features are amazing. My old phone was an s10 so I really did need the upgrade. I like the s-pen best but I've only been using it to color and crop articles for uni. Thank you for posting this. Absolutely love your videos. I am an avid iPhone user, and deep in Apple's Ecco system. I had the opportunity to try the S23 Ultra as my work phone. The first thing I did was seek out your videos. I have to be honest and say the Samsung S23 Ultra has quickly become my favorite device and really shows me just how stale iOS is. Apple will never give us the level of customization found on the Ultra unfortunately.
@ultradeadd LOL..I wouldn't say I was sleeping, so much as I never wanted to plunk down another thousand dollars for a second phone. I still love my iPhone. I am able to find the benefits, pleasures, and pure joy offered from both companies.
I enjoyed this video so much! I've clicked video after video of reviews and tips on the galaxy s23 ultra. Not one of these folks were able to teach me ANYTHING NEW. I'm pretty tech savvy and have learned all their "tips" already, mostly on my own by just tinkering around. Then here you come, making my jaw drop with each and every tip/trick. You're definitely gonna be my go-to for these informative/educational videos! Thanks a bunch for making content that actually teaches people something about their tech!❤
Some not-so-pro tips: 1) Game booster can be set to being a shortcut so no drop menu is needed. 2) s-pen can also edit screenshots by doodling on em, cropping, or modifying the image before you save and share em with ScreenWrite. 3) the autocrop works with ANY image. Even images you've downloaded. 4) most video and images are better edited AFTER taking the pic (especially the Expert Raw images), Adobe LR is actually a pretty insane app, Photoshop ads value if you're not interested in buying LR-pro. 5) the camera is AMAZING, generally for taking images that require post-editing... BUT- for the BEST quality images, you've gotta have a really stable hand... Image stabilization is awesome but as you zoom into the image, elements the stabilization isn't focusing on lose clarity...

One reason I have stayed with Apple all these years I am disabled, legally blind, and when it comes to certain text I hover over the text to highlight over all the text & select speak for Siri to read everything to me. Years ago when I had the Samsung S5 nothing like this could be done to read things back, is there any way this can be done with Samsung these days or an app that will accomplish that. Sorry to come to you with this question but you and one other person on RUclips that does tips, tricks and features are the only one I subscribe to. Hope you or your followers can help me with this before making the purchase March 25. Bixby is trash and so's the camera with the addition of a forced shutter delay of 3 seconds that you can't disable, so the camera is useless unless ur filming video
@@Involvement82nope it's an OK os but the half the reason to own it is pointless if you can't get a decent photo, half the reason to own this phone is now rendered useless through the introduction of the forced shutter delay, who wants to be forced to wait 3-4 seconds to take a photo? Not me do you? And it's not a timer its a stupid feature that Samsung went full retard on ,it's ruins half the photo process

You should also mention DEX-Mode! People check it out. You basically have a whole OS on your smartphone which can replace your desktop! Though, I would not use it for video production or engineering since it literally would kill your storage sooner than later! I've been using the DEX-Mode since SG21 Ultra and while it's cool for light-programming etc. running docker or databases will kill your build in drive fast.

But theres one short question which bothers me a little 😅 I saw your Tipp for display resolution... but there is a little note in the setting which says the higher resolution leads to higher battery usage... is the difference significant? Can somebody tell? Anyway thanks for another great video and helping me getting closer to my device.

S23 Ultra - the best decision you can make in the smartphone sector. My mobile phone/smartphone history is relatively manageable. The first phone I got was the Sharp GX20 (used for about 2 years); LG GD510 (used for about 2 years because the Sharp GX20 broke); Galaxy Note 1, then and until now the most brilliant thing that came out (used until 2016); S3 (second cell phone for the Note 1, I gave it away); LG G5 (the worst phone I've owned so far, threw it out after a year of use); S7 (second cell phone for the Note 1 until massive battery problems occurred after a year); Huawei Mate 10 Pro (1 year of use, and still used by my mom and runs absolutely fine); Huawei P30 Pro (1 year use, still an excellent phone and still owned by my mother-in-law); I would have liked to get a Huawei again, but then I was banned. So I wanted to get an iPhone because of the cheap contract change. It was the iPhone 11 Pro (1 year of use, but the battery is just unacceptable, so sold). Then got another iPhone through the contract extension - the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Super smartphone and performance, but if the camera breaks after exactly one year, this is absolutely unacceptable for me and I don't see the repair. (I've thought before, why should you get an iPhone - yes, it's something completely different, but nothing more. Yes, the devices work very well with each other, as does the workmanship, but the more you think about how limited you are, it just doesn't make any sense at all why you should reach for the iPhone. Also a simple data transfer to another device...) So it was time to switch back to Android. After all these years, the S23 Ultra came at the right time. (Yes, I was supposed to get a Note in the years before that, but somehow it no longer appealed to me to get a Samsung, especially as in the environment almost everyone had battery problems.) But as I said, now was the right time to get the S23 Ultra. Especially due to the move from Samsung side to Qualcomm. With the S23 Ultra you are secured for the next few years anyway, the performance has been covered by the technology for years. The latest generation is already overkill for almost 90% of smartphone users anyway. But the possibilities that are in the S23 Ultra (Dex, Spen). In general, the adjustments that can be made are easy and, as already mentioned, data transfer is so easy again without any problems. S23 Ultra a feeling like 12 years ago with the Galaxy Note 1. I am confident that I now have a smartphone again, which I will use without restrictions for the next 5 years and beyond.
I absolutely love this phone! I personally think I think it's better than apple..I was so close to buying the s22.. my husband was there for one who was like no your getting the s23 ultra.. the only problem I have is that my store didn't have the 512gb or the ..1TB .. I honestly wanted to get a higher gb, but other than that, im very satisfied.
I was using S10 lite for 2.5 yrs and recently changed to Pixel 7. After doing 4-5 customisations in settings I was done with all the features .. I mean this phone has just essential features, few very advanced features which you would hardly use. I am missing Samsung one UI, so many customisations and overall experience.. Pixel has top notch camera nothing else

Thanks, The remaster for photos saved me a lot time and the call background customization for each contact. ALSO the bixy call screening, that should help me find out if its job calling me back or a scammer.

Honestly, this video did a better job at selling the phone than the vast majority of reviews. Most of them don't even touch on a fraction of the features in this video, most of which are surprisingly useful rather than just gimmicky, assuming that's the kind of functionality you want from a phone. While I do like my experiences simple, I'm a sucker for having this kind of functionality.
Same here! Upgraded a few days ago. I've had the pixels since the first pixel, although skipped a few generations because I use phones until they just can't handle the software upgrades lol I am loving the s23 ultra. I was nervous to switch but it's been great!

On the contrary: if a Chromebook can replace a desktop (and it can for lots of uses), so can Dex. I work in IT, and use Dex constantly.

Honestly, this video did a better job at selling the phone than the vast majority of reviews. Most of them don't even touch on a fraction of the features in this video, most of which are surprisingly useful rather than just gimmicky, assuming that's the kind of functionality you want from a phone. While I do like my experiences simple, I'm a sucker for having this kind of functionality.

Same here! Upgraded a few days ago. I've had the pixels since the first pixel, although skipped a few generations because I use phones until they just can't handle the software upgrades lol I am loving the s23 ultra. I was nervous to switch but it's been great!
