Look, I know the star of this film’s the scenery but notwithstanding, this is a beautifully made film. Thank you. If you ever needed a definition of what: ‘Less is more,’ means your film admirably demonstrates. No need for a ceaseless commentary or verbiage; you just let the landscape speak for itself. And I, for one, am very grateful as this film shows real talent.
Hey Martyn, thank you so very much. It’s really nice to hear of someone actually hitting the nail squarely on the head with reference to the style of video we try to make. Outstanding message.. Lisa & Dave 😃🙏🫡
Almost crying with delight for you. I have climbed Stac Pollaidh many times, in all weather and seasons but never done anything like this. Watching the sun go down over the Summer Isles so atmospheric. Thank you.
Hi Dave & Lisa, Wow! SP is local to me and I've been up it loads of times but never had the views that you got. I take my southern softie friends up because it is not too taxing, and they still complain. IMHO the Assynt hills are the finest in Scotland. You've got my juices flowing for tomorrow's day in the hills, thanks. Take care and enjoy the thills. K
Loved this video-Thankyou It was so lovely to see Stac Pollaidh and the beautiful and stunning Suilven in which I will walk in a few weeks and cannot wait! Keep the stunning videos coming Cheers from me Mark in🏴🤙
You guys have done it again Scotland 🏴 has it all the scenery in that video is incredible you are so lucky and brave in those bivvy s me and wife love your videos can’t wait to go back thankyou Lisa and Dave 💚👍👏👏
Wow, I knew this was going to be really good just from the opening shot. Absolutely stunning, your videos are just so good, I really enjoy them and more than once. The go to channel to distract my mind. Thank you for sharing.
What an adventure pal! Been down that road to the Stac a few times but never wandered up. Beautiful, tranquil and you can almost hear the weeks stresses ebb away. Thanks for taking us along . Cheers - Ian
Hiya Ian, Next time you really should pull in and take a quick walk up. This wee bivvy was just after xmas and, yip, helped remove the turkey and tension! Thanks for watching. 😊🙏
Brilliant Lisa & Dave, really enjoyed this. I managed to squeeze a small two person tent onto the same spot where you bivvied and was treated to the Aurora over Suilven that evening. No matter how many times I climb SP it never disappoints.
Hey John, Thanks for messaging and for watching. Yeah, could be tight for a tent which is why we’ve waited to pick our moment to do this. Absolutely agree, SP never disappoints. Thanks again. 😊🙌🤙
That looked excellent, I keen putting Stac Pollaidh off for some reason but will do it soon no doubt 😁 the conditions you got for sunrise/sunset looked fantastic! Look forward to the next one, Atb, James
Brilliant guys, what a great place to spend the night. 👌🏼 I can definitely see the appeal to bivvying out, but in winter? Must admit, I prefer a tent to retire to. 😁
Wow 👌, great video love watching you guys, trying to catch up on your content ,will catch up one day 😀 superb ,keep them coming will we see anymore on the bike adventures ,it's the kind of adventure I do myself ,love a good bivi
Another excellent wee bivvy adventure beautifully filmed and edited - thanks for sharing. Not much evidence of proper Scottish winter conditions but beautiful clarity and light.
Cheers Graham this was the spell between Xmas and new year.. weird weather. You can see the frost on our bivvy bags in some of the shots. It did get mild when the cloud arrived later in the night. Cheers for watching. 😊🙏
I don’t think the video can ever fully show how magical or miserable days in the mountains can be. Fully agree with you! This was a super we adventure. Think we’ve managed to capture it reasonably well. Thanks for watching Gareth. 😊🙏🤙
Thank you for sharing this stunning beauty! 🙏 Great conditions with some really sweet images! I'm still hoping to come to Scotland this year in the spring from France for a roof-tent road-trip.... A very happy 2022 to both of you. 🍻
Hi Stuart, No we didn’t. Two reasons.. it doesn’t look it but the rock on the ascent side was mega frosty and slippy. MrsO is a work in progress with exposure and heights! The second reason was time! Top tip.. get it ticked off your list asap! 😁🙌👌
@@Itsthejourneynotthedestination both are totally doable. You go as far as your comfortable with and that’s good enough. Enjoy them both Stuart .. this year!! 😊🙏
