One of the finest courses I’ve played. It is just an awesome test of golf with totally friendly people at the club! The Gent being interviewed is a wonderful host - lovely man and will take care of you! Worth the trip and thensome!
Absolutely love these Irish links courses. Many are on my bucket list. Congrats Dan. Always love seeing you two boys on the same channel playing each other. Cheers.
Loving the Under Armour shoes and clothes, Dan. They look good and so comfortable as well. And that new PXG driver is a real weapon. The drives and then DOD shots have been spectacular! These vlogs make my day. Thankyou and Bernie for your excellent golf and production skills.
Finally found a spare evening to watch this. Gorgeous looking course. And love the ‘pocket sized’ interviews weaved in between the action. Still boggles the mind that quality like this hasn’t yet cleared 50k subs. Hit that button people!
Great vlog guys, played 3 rounds in carne back in 2021, loved it, met Gerry too, lovely guy, the new 9 holes that make the wild Atlantic dunes are simply unreal, magic place.
You really were out there almost all by yourself which must have been a lovely sensation, especially on such a beautiful course! Well played by both of you boys! Looking forward to the Lester chipping video with the claw grip 😃 Not sure you had anything to do with this, but the amount of ads that popped up during this vlog was unreal! Anyway, pleasure to watch you two as always! 👍🏻
This is why I subscribed. Two good players and childhood friends showcasing beautiful courses well. Much love to both of you. If you ever make to Augusta in April the beer is on me.
I was told when I was in Scotland you are right Dan the link between the town and sea. When the fishermen would store the boats in the winter and storms.
Looks magic guys. My understanding is that ’links’ refers to the link from sea to useable farmland. The links land not being fertile enough for crops due to the sandy base. True golf, having to use your imagination rather than the target practice of the wide open fairways, minimal rough, massive greens and waste bunker golf we see destroyed to par week in week out.
Love your course vlogs Dan I tip my hat to ya. Links all the way for me. I'm off to Scotland in July for 5 days on the links playing the likes of Brora and Castle Stuart 😍 What ball was you using sounded rock hard like a srixon distance...not sneaking in a few yards are ya 😉
Looks like the structure there is “Supreme”, would be nice to see it all spruced up for a competition with shorter grass fairway and graduated roughs… slick greens. But understanding the ethos of the o’ naturelle going on so not saying it isn’t perfect as is…
Links refers to comes via the Scotland and the word hlinc and refers to undulating generally sand dunes and coastal. It is definately the ultimate test of golf - exposed, wind and tight lies. What more can you want. C
What happened to the remaining 12 holes at Crowborough Beacon? Have I missed something? Now we're at Carne Golf Links! Very confusing. Did Jordan have a bad finish at Crowborough and resign? Maybe the 'Dog' ate him?
@@DanHendriksenGolf Thanks Dan. Not sure that's a good idea. You lose continuity and possibly, interest. Will be interesting to see the outcome of your strategy. Best W
@@5756strat I have been putting parts out for the past 4 years and they continue to fall off the planet. I am breaking things up for a release every Monday at 6pm.
With the 6, 6, 6 Crowborough Links maybe the editing/ filming needs a slight change so they can be more easily be marketed as stand alone matches. (Probably not easy to do though) I do miss Jordan on the green shots for film quality but realise that isn't cheap. It is a little cat and mouse about vlogs, I am sure viewing figures were better when regular vlogs 3 times week, which everyone no doubt preferred, but the cost benefit ratio sustainability is no doubt very restrictive to doing this.
@@barleystraw Thanks, Yes I agree mostly with your comments. Finding the right strategy, the right mix of content etc, would certainly be a huge challenge for Dan and his team, especially in a crowded golf you tuber market - and when everyone is trying to push the 'production value' envelope. I would imagine guests like Joe the Pro, James Ruth and Gilly are the crowd pullers but they have other commitments and no doubt want some slice of the revenue pie. Tough business. My initial comment was a bit tongue in cheek which I think Dan picked up on. His subscriber numbers are slowly inching up.
FWIW, I think your course vlogs would appeal to more people if they included a lot less talking. I was an early subscriber, but unsubscribed because your course vlogs feel like a very slow round of golf. I'm posting this to be constructive.
I disagree. Dan and Bernie seem like the nicest people on RUclips and as strange as this sounds, considering I have never met either, it feels like they are my mates and I like the banter/chat.
@@Dean_R1 First, I agree with your comments; e.g., Dan and Bernie are very likeable. My comments were intended to be helpful, not critical. My main point is I want to watch golf more than hear about it. Cheers!
I take on board your comments for sure, we have talked about it and we just don’t want to follow others with this. It won’t appeal to everyone but it’s just us 👍

Links golf is by far the best way to play the game. Love that you guys feel the same.
Speaking for the masses here Dan, we’ve missed this content a lot ❤👍. Great to see you doing what you do best!

When you two play golf together everything is right with the world. 👍
The magic between these two hasn't wained over the years.

@@DanHendriksenGolf Thanks very much !
Lovely
Looks alot like Enniscrone. Another great Western Ireland course.
Played boys
Would be so great to have a flyby of each hole before you play it so we can have a sense of what’s goin on.
Carne GC-Greatest course GB& I- Gerry Maguire & Fiona Togher best CEO combination in golf
Can absolutely say i dont think I can carry enough balls to play a course like that with that many dunes.
Another great video gents.

This feels like the whole thing was filmed on a cheap mobile phone….brilliant opportunity wasted!
Not sure what device you are watching this video on Julian but this video is filmed on a very expensive 4k camera 🎥 like all of my videos.
Lovely vlog and amazing looking course. What's not to like.
