I've not played this course, but I did play Druids Glen, The European, and Portmarnock Hotel and Links many years ago. All stunning courses. I'd love to go back to Ireland to play one day, they have some amazing courses there. I enjoyed your video
@@paulhooper2388 hey Paul. Yea so many amazing courses. I’d love to go there for a week just to play some rather than rush to fit a round in on our family holiday.
I love the greens and fairways snaking through the dunes. Very pretty. I haven't played in Ireland, been to southern Ireland fishing and drinking the black stuff. It didn't agree with me! 🤣🤣
Good look at what it's like to play at Carne. I've played there several times and it can be very frustrating when I'm not playing well, but it's always great fun!
@@bikemadcarl Very different in wind. On 10 we played from the same tee (white was up that day) with a 3 club wind at our back. My friend aced it and I birdied it with a 5 foot putt. The next time I played it, the wind was in the opposite direction, and the tee was back 30 yards, and I came up short with a driver and bogeyed it. That was just the experience on one hole. The other 17 were no less of an amazing adventure.
Visited with my Grandparents, who are Irish when I was 10 years old. What a course! Half the shots I hit were blind with those huge dunes and I hacked it around all day played horribly but what an incredible experience, the scenery, the drive up and all
It was set up for the Irish championship a few day earlier. However the weather was kind. If it has been windy it would have been a totally different matter
Wow what a course! Reminds me of a course I played in Alabama, The Senator at RTJ Capital. It was the best links style course I played but it doesn't compare to this one, especially the views. Great round and nice work with the putter on this one!
Let me know if you've played this course or any others in Ireland.

It's a bucketlist item for me to play this course.
It’s off the beaten track but very warm and welcoming club house and pro shop. Course was stunning

I’m just glad it wasn’t windy on the day. I expect it’s a totally different experience

It’ll it has just been laid out for the Irish open so playing fast and long but thankfully it wasn’t windy 😂👍
Why no relief at 7:04? Good result regardless!
A man of few words😉
😂😂👍
Do you not carry any wedges other than PW?
He’s old school and likes making golf even harder 😂
Happy with the golf not with the price anyways gl.
Ireland is expensive to play golf that’s for sure
@@bikemadcarl Not for what you are getting. Carne is a bargain at 130 Euro.
@@patrickmorgan4006 yea but some charge more and not as good. But most are pretty good 😊
DQ for scoring down 18 😂
