Hello RUclips, I am Malcolm Merlyn. As most of you are aware, there are a lot of different scammers out there and these include Nigerian prince email scammers, Indian tech support scammers, IRS scammers and others. They have been around for over 10 years now and they don’t seem to be going anywhere. After getting a lot of calls, sometimes very early in the morning I have decided enough is enough. If the government won’t shut down these pests then I will.
I created some virtual machines and started calling scammers using a fake caller ID. The calls were quite hilarious so I started uploading them on RUclips; this was great as I was raising awareness about scams while also earning money. In total I have called scammers over ten thousand times in the past year and a half. I created a number of programs to annoy them including a call flooder that can call the scammers many times per minute which overloads their phones.

I am workingon legit call centre in Pakistan Because of such people and scams we face alot of rude clients so when things happen to I turn it into a funny one. What Iwanna tell you that tgese people just want leads and their supervisors constantly pressurize them at that extent that they don't even use their mind and just say the script. Same happens here for generating leads like if someone tries to play with you they get payed themselves. lmao.

There are large call centres scamming out there and can target India too (perhaps mainly companies-corporations, as they will go where the money is). I used to just get calls just from the UK many years ago, but now it's India, and from what is reported in the media, also Nigeria. I don't answer many calls now, as the numbers are increasingly being faked with pretend mobile and local numbers
Many western companies moved their work abroad so they could profit from cheaper IT labour. The industry has grown rapidly in India. Their law may be finding it hard to keep up with cyber crime as they cannot monitor all call centres. Scams may exist in 'legit' call centres run by western companies within India too, with stolen public profile data or worse. It is possible that Indian police may have little interest, given that no money is lost locally unless it relates to tax. They did help shut down IRS scammers however if you search. The scammers were living in the US, but they hired multiple call centres in India to scam for them. There is a large gap between rich and poor in India, and thousands may apply for just one job position in some regions. An admin position may be seen as better than no work at all to some. Scam call centres seem to advertise as if they were legit online. Morals go out the window if anyone needs to provide for family, but the managers will be raking in most of the money in large centres. Some reports show that scamming can be made up of largely young people, especially students. The reputation of India being scammer central may see it's demise with legit foreign contracts. Some companies as an example have been reported to move work from India to other countries, such as the Philippines. It's a production for entertainment obviously, the call flooders software is just fake (whats up with the random encrypted strings) floating around. Also doesn't make sense to have physical phones and ringers over a headset and voip software on the scammer end,

My grandmother was just called by Direct TV today while i was visiting. The connection was bad, so she had me take over the call. I immediately smelled a scam. I allowed him to talk, and he led me down a path that would have completely corrupted her cable box. Of course I just said I was doing what he said. Finally, when he told me he was going to adjust a satellite's orbit, in space, from his pc, I had enough and revealed to him I knew this was bull. Was called all of the hindi insults, as usual. This is still happening people. I dread to think how many times she's actually done what they've said while I wasn't here. Now after talking to my grandfather, he told me, they get these calls all day. I know their number has been traded and or sold to each other. If only I had a machine of my own....you don't mess with my family, just wish I could do this as well.
I also am scared of these sammers scamming my gma, I swear to God if I can't hurt them through the technology I will kill them psychically!!!

the good thing with my grandma is that she doesn't take shit from anyone, and she's probably one of the smartest people in our family. she would never talk to a regular stranger on the phone, let alone a scam caller being rude/making dumb threats. until my parents get old, I don't think i'll have to worry about anyone in my immediate family any time soon
I would love to get back at them. .... they also call here all the time. An apparently they does not have a clear knowledge of timezones, - so they calls me in Denmark often Saturday’s and before 9 am. (Weekend who does not sleep in?) .... so would love to get back to them, but also i usually just let them talk, so they can waste my time, - often i just answer “in the east if they ask in the west” it annoys them, i keep telling them i have absolutely no knowledge of computers. ... so i can often at least take their time... I would hope that India would address this issue themselves.
